in winter usually ponies grow a thicker coat, but in the Crystal Empire the Crystal Heart swooshes it away to make everyone Pristine, since it also prevents snowstorms. aaand that’s my headcanon. rip. anyway i never posted all my sunburst stuff sooooo here we goooo

A little while after season 7’s finale he became friends with Sunburst and began working under Queen Cadence in keeping documentation of the natural/non-magic phenomena around the Crystalline City, (yes I know it’s called an empire but it’s so tiny it might as well be a city imo) and commonly uses his work as a means to cope.
