Sometimes I think about how rainbow’s parents kept her on a childleash when she was a fetus

it wouldn’t surprise me if that was a pegasus norm, to keep their fetuses on leashes to make sure they don’t fly away or fall off a ledge, but you just Know Rainbow in particular was an out of control child and they had to restrain her and Windy didn’t start collecting plates and stuff until after Rainbow moved out because she definitely would have crashed and broken them

Yes I think Zecora’s and Applebloom’s relationship is one of the best things in my little pony thank you for asking. Applebloom was never afraid of Zecora like the other villagers and sort of became her assistant and protege after discovering her talent for potion making and I can totally see her continuing on being the town herbalist after Zecora dies or goes back to her home country or whatever and that’s really neat.

Pizzaiolo - affectionately christened “Nonno ‘Olo” by his grandson and the local foals - is the owner of a humble pizza shop Bel Amore in Ponyville. His son, Pot Cheese, decided to go off and try to make it big in the city, leaving dear old dad all alone in the pizza parlor. One day, he unceremoniously returns with a month-old unicorn foal with an underdeveloped horn, shoves him into his father’s hooves, and then leaves. Pizzaiolo raised that foal as his own son and he grew up to be the ruggedly handsome bachelor of Ponyville, Ricotta Sinatra, or “Ricky” for short. 

Pizzaiolo is patient and kind - your typical ideal grandpa figure. He could toss a pizza six ways to Sunday, make it do cartwheels around his legs, and still come out perfectly round. He’s a master of toppings and sauce making; skills he’s worked very hard to pass on to his grandson. He’s adored by the young foals because he often gives them free garlic knots and breadsticks. He still does even when they grow up and start families of their own.

Ricotta Sinatra is just like his grandfather and then some. He’s strong and prefers to do things the old fashion way rather than rely on magic. Even though his horn is underdeveloped, he can still use basic magic and often makes things shoot towards him during lunch and dinner rushes. 

He was the star jock in school with a heart of gold, everything any potential suitor could want, yet he’s never had a date and remains the most sought-after bachelor in Ponyville, with mares (and a few stallions) turning up regularly to try and court him though none succeed. Mothers and Grandmas alike often tut at him and ask him when he’ll meet a nice mare, settle down, and have a little pizza baby of his own. Questions he tries to avoid and is often quick to change the topic to where they got their new necklace or how nice their new haircut looks.
