OTMAA Contemporaries: Marta, Astrid and Carl of Sweden.
They were second cousins of OTMAA, their mother Ingeborg of Denmark being a first cousin of Nicholas II. They had an older sister, Margaretha (1899) who seems to have had a friendly correspondence with Maria Nikolaevna who was almost exactly the same age: Margaretha was born 25 June 1899, and Maria 26 June (14 Old Style).
Marta (or Martha) was born in 1901, the same year as Anastasia; Astrid in 1905, making her slightly younger than Alexei; and Carl in 1911.
Marta would eventually become Crown Princess of Norway (she died before her husband Olav ascended the throne, so was never Queen), and Astrid would become Queen of the Belgians as the first wife of Leopold III.
6th June 2022 // Members of the Swedish royal family gathered to celebrate Sweden’s National Day. They took part in a carriage procession to Skansen, where a concert was broadcast for the public. The adults then hosted a reception at the Royal Palace for representatives from public life before watching a display from the military in the palace garden

6th June 2022 // New official photographs of the Crown Princess family were shared to mark Sweden’s National Day. The photograph was taken at the Royal Palace and Victoria and Estelle can both be seen wearing Sweden’s National Dress
20th May 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Malmö. The visit began in the Hyllie district, where the Crown Princess Couple were given a tour of the area. Hyllie is Malmö’s largest development area with a strong focus on climate-smart solutions in energy, waste and mobility. The Crown Princess couple then visited the Court of Appeal over Skåne and Blekinge to celebrate their 200th anniversary.
18th May 2022 // The City of Stockholm hosted an official lunch at City Hall to mark the Finnish State Visit. The event was attended by members of the royal family including the Crown Princess couple
17th May 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria at the State Banquet marking the visit from the Finnish President and First Lady. She wears the Napoleonic Cut Steel Tiara and the Collar of the Order of the White Rose, Grand Cross, which is Finland’s highest individual honour
17th May 2022 // Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel joined other members of the Swedish royal family for the State Banquet marking the visit from the Finnish President and First Lady. Victoria was awarded The Collar of the Order of the White Rose, Grand Cross, as part of the visit and is seen wearing it for the first time.
17th May 2022 // The King and Queen, Crown Princess couple, and Princely couple joined the President and First Lady of Finland for a welcome ceremony to start the State Visit from Finland. In a wonderful show of fashion diplomacy, Crown Princess Victoria wore a dress from Finnish brand Andiata and a brooch from Finnish jeweler Kirsti Doukas
