Fliers strap flight attendant to a seat after she allegedly assaults a passenger
The Brisbane Times reported that a flight attendant on board flight EY460 from Tokyo to Melbourne had been gagged and strapped to a seat after she verbally assaulted a female passenger following a request for a cold drink.
A passenger on the flight admitted under condition anonymity: “Frankly I don’t know what got up her skirt, and frankly I don’t care. She was just a bitch the entire flight.”
The kerfuffle happened about 6 hours into the 10+ hour flight but the pilot decided against making an emergency landing after ensuring the situation was well under control.
One passenger told the newspaper:
“There was a lot of screaming, shouting and it was really crazy. There were about six or seven people who held her down and then one of the crew supplied the duct tape to gag and tie her to a seat .”
The Airline formally apologized to the passengers on board the flight for any distress the incident might have caused.

Woman bound in duct tape escapes robbery
A woman bound and gagged with duct tape narrowly escaped from her office after two men broke in during an apparent robbery, according to police. The victim, 20, told authorities that the men wore bandannas over their faces but that she may have recognized one of their voices.
“Someone she distantly knew,” an officer said. “She didn’t know who it was. She just thought she might recognize the voice.”
Kent County detectives said they don’t believe the crime was random, though they didn’t know exactly why the busy office on Alma Street was targeted.
The woman told police the men tied her up and told her they had a gun, but that she was able to free herself. Police say they ransacked the home.
“She had duct tape around her wrists and around her neck, and she was able to pull the duct tape away from her face, but she couldn’t get it off,” an officer said.

Security Guards Left Helpless as $500k Sapphire Ring Vanishes
A sapphire-and-diamond ring worth over half a million dollars has gone missing after an apparent break-in at a West Vancouver jewelry store, with two female security guards trussed up and gagged at the scene.
The ring was reported stolen from a business in the 500 block of Eastcot Road in the British Properties Feb. 7, said Constable Jeff Palmer, spokesman for the West Vancouver Police Department.
The owners arrived within 5 minutes of a silent alarm being triggered at about 7:30 p.m. that night to find several rooms had been ransacked and a safe had been forced open.
The ring, which had been inside the safe, was missing.
The ring, a Tiffany sapphire, features a large deep blue sapphire in a setting encrusted with diamonds. It is valued at about $500,000, said Palmer.
Also missing from the safe was a white gold Van Cleef & Arpels necklace with diamonds and shamrock patterns valued at more than $75,000. Two Vacheron Constantin gold watches – one man’s and one woman’s – each worth about $50,000 were also missing from the safe.
Two female security guards on site were discovered in a backroom bound gagged and tied to chairs with duct tape.
