Personally, I could not agree more. People are so hung up on what they think things should be sometimes that they completely miss the beauty of what is. If you need a contract and a day collar to make you happy, that’s all well and good. If you need those things because you heard somewhere that that’s how you do it, reevaluate yourself, your needs and your desires and do what’s best for you and your partner.

If anyone wanted to know how teaching is going, I just got called woke for using fractions
New “teaching is a lawless wasteland on planet bullshit” sticker just dropped.
so after two years of convincing myself, and about five months of actual preparing, i finally submitted my application to the masters of arts in teaching program at lewis and clark college. i am now simultaneously thrilled and terrified because it’s the only grad program that i applied to.
now while i wait for a couple months to hear the results, i am hoping to get back into decorating and design things. my etsy and everything else not school/girlfriend related pretty much took a back seat during the summer and fall while i got all my stuff together. so anyways, consider this my reentry back into the world, especially the design/tumblr/instagram world and keep your fingers crossed that i get into this program!
also, the parker & west shop took a little vacation but now it’s back up and ready for your vintage holiday shopping needs!
Hello Everyone! I know I rarely use this page anymore, but I figured I’d try reaching out to all of you for some help. When I’m not running a silly review blog I am a middle school chorus teacher who started this blog while in college. I started at a new school this year, and one of the biggest concerns for families of students in my class was getting a nice shirt for their kids to wear for concerts. So what I’d like to do is raise money to purchase shirts for the students to wear for the concert, and these shirts will be used by future students for years to come. This first project will purchase shirts in sizes Small, Medium, and Large. I need to raise about $500, and Yamaha will donate the other half of the cost. I’ll be doing a second project to get shirts in some youth sizes and some XL and up sizes. Please consider donating and sharing with your friends and family. Any little bit will help. Thanks!
