As we can see from the screenshots I forgot crop these were meant to be posted a lot earlier lol

I still have quite a few of these IG questions to answer. I wanted to share these four because they were my most fun. There’s another that I will post up but it will be included with any other angsty questions

The first one is a few Ocs and their taste in music. I separated them and wrote more but I forgot to watermark them. I don’t think anyone would steal these drawings but still.

• Sera loves opera and takes Ortun and Tau to them as often as she can. It’s one of the few activities she keeps up with from her childhood. Ortun wasn’t the biggest fan but grew to enjoy opera and is quite the connoisseur lol On IG I had the two of them listening to a talented opera singer, Maria Callas. My friend introduced me to
• Fleur and Takoda in particular like just about everything. If it’s got a catchy beat they will be fans of the song/artist/group. I had watched, Turning Red, before drawing this and had them dancing to, I Want It That Way, by the Backstreet Boys. The two of them would be those friends who sing with a hairbrush and put on a performance in front of an invisible audience lol
• Azra I want to say gets introduced to anime and amvs by her soul sister and discovers a bunch of rock and symphonic metal. She has no regrets watching amvs lol She’s listening to Nightwish, Sleeping Sun. A personal favorite song my sister and I discovered one day that cemented our days surfing YouTube for good amvs
• Cha’l can be an old soul and enjoys music similar in beat to Frank Sinatra. It’s easygoing and Cha’l has to have music on when he’s cooking for his family. He’s the type that can play music and not get distracted if he’s focused on a task. He was listening to, “Poetry in Motion” a song my sister showed me from a Fisheye amv from Sailor Moon! But, Cha’l also loves music that makes you want to dance! I’m getting pictures in my head- like if he’s making a recipe he’s done a thousand times he has no problem letting the music speak and make him dance. If I drew him dancing he’s be listening to either Hector Lavoe, Marc Anthony or Elvis Crespo because those artists hold specific moments I see Cha’l and his family doing

Fleur singing in the tavern! There was a commercial that was playing all the time (maybe January? That’s when I believe I drew this) and it gave me jazz bar vibes. The poses and composition were taken from a childhood favorite movie of mine. If anyone could guess it will get a digital cookie! I will say the movie is a direct to video sequel to a much better movie. I’d give another hint but the other hint is giving too much away

MY FAVORITE!!! Lol Kiel and his expressions. He and Fleur are the most expressive but Kiel is the king of expressions. Kiel is a menace to Captain Ortun and he thrives off of knowing that. I love how close he and Tau are. He’s an only childling so Tau gives him a taste of what having a sibling is like. If Tau looks like they’re in vampire garb that’s because I was looking at/thinking about, Interview with the Vampire lol

Lastly, Gelfling Viara and Podling Fleur! Something I never would’ve considered. Even as a Podling Fleur still looks like she can take anyone on while looking cute doing it lol Viara is still just as sweet looking as a Gelfling.

The last bit of IG asks where people made assumptions about OceanPetals’ childling who will be arriving soon!

The last one is a very canon reaction to how Maeve, Bhihaar and Fiona reacted when they heard that Fleur and Razer were expecting. I imagine that Maeve and Fiona had a mini celebration amongst themselves because this was their mom-tag-team mission lol

So many different variations of what the childling could look like! Soon all will be revealed.

More IG questions! (Still need to answer/revise my old tumblr asks lol and get ready!)

The first shows Enyo looking very distraught. I like getting questions about the Garthim Wars and how my Ocs reacted to learning the truth. It’s interesting to think about how different Ocs react to the same event, because there are so many possibilities. When I eventually get to draw/sketch Garthim Wars stuff it will be pretty heavy.

The second and third are wholesome sketches of baby and childling Fleur; featuring a toddler Cha’l! Fleur is Maeve and Bhihaar’s princess but she has also given them plenty of mini heart attacks before her wings sprouted.

Seeing the last two sketches reminds me that I never shared what Kiel’s parents might look like this never sketching a childling Kiel *gasp* and childling Azra! Soon lol

I’m still alive, just busy/exhausted and maybe experiencing burnout(?)

Here’s some IG questions I had done last-ish month that feature Ocs of other artists that have both an IG and Tumblr.

The first is a cute wedding sketch of Zela and Iryn with Fleur as one of the bridesmaids. Both Zela and Iryn belong to @stonewoodsifa

The second is featuring @fiercenaia Oc, Mara who I imagine has a lot of fun talking with Fleur about weapons!

The third is Maeve and @nurloxx Oc Eri. For anyone who doesn’t know, Eri is basically Maeve and Bhihaar’s second daughter lol

The fourth and fifth sketches are of Ocs who belong to @smaaenart , Tasia (Stonegrot childling) and Velan (Podling)

These are always fun to draw for IG and I enjoy sketching out the scenarios so many people create with their questions.

Watch out because I’m about to share some more to make up for not posting in a while lol

Last one for tonight!

The Castle Guard in the first one isn’t suppose to be Tore but he looks like him from behind lol

Enyo is a fan of warriors and warriors with strong physiques. She and Fleur are cordial but not friends, frienemies but not friends. I feel like a lot of Enyo’s interactions with Fleur are either rival-ish, ignorant or cordial. Maybe Fleur had no drinking buddies that particular night andEnyo happened to be there. Along with a Castle Guard.

I’d add more about that one but we’d be here all day.

The second is a School AU which is fun to imagine! Perhaps one day we’ll see what most of my Ocs would’ve looked like in a modern high school or college setting! Elkie and Azra we’re the most fun to draw. Especially Elkie. I had to draw that artists beret

Azra is using chemistry class to learn to make smoke bombs or concoctions that will help her better in mixing potions for spells. Omg Azra in goth clothes is something I want to draw! Definitely when I end up drawing the school au lineup.

Finally the last one is Elkie and her sister Adette! They are both precious andi must draw more of the two of them together. Since their hair is the perfect shade for dying the Grottan sisters have fun dying each other’s hair. This becomes handy later on so someone doesn’t get the two of them mistaken.

Adette visits topside later and that is when she and Elkie strengthen their sisterhood. Their parents really made a wedge that prevented the two from wanting to be close.

But yeah, after Elkie learns of hair dyes, she goes to the taverns and merchant shops with a new color every few unum (if she chooses)

I thought I’d share this one here as well.

This guy is just a Skeksis character I made for the question. Drawing creatures, especially reptilian or monstrous are out of my skill (at least for now) fluffy cute creatures are a different story lol

If there is a Skeksis I would like to draw it’s SkekSa because I love how colorful and full of feathers she is. Maybe SkekEkt too because I like their red hair.

Yeah, they’re heavily referenced by a particular vulture I saw on Google and somehow still reminds me of SkekSil lol

More IG answers featuring @nurloxx OC Eri who’s basically the Stonesan family’s second daughter lol She and Ofir have super an awesome friendship! And she is Fleur’s oldest friend!

Fleur is that friend who will make sure that you are doing fine during a rough patch. Her friends have been there for her and she makes sure to be there for them. Fun activities or comfort food is always on the schedule for cheering up friends!

Eri’s funny quirks have definitely rubbed off on Ofir. He likes getting into a bunch of shenanigans with Eri, especially transporting and delivering her candy and any sugar!

Rizzi is always ready to help with anything that looks fun and dressing up in costumes is something she’s never done before. Th ether of them together are a force to be reckoned with. Thorough planning, obtaining the candy without getting caught and sharing the spoils with the club!

A while ago I answered some IG questions! Here are 2 of them featuring @smaaenart Podling Oc Velan who is Viara’s husband and their twins Kaj and Brin!

Now the Podling family has a fourth member in their daughter Neera. It’s a coincidence that Smaaenart suggested the name Neera because she was my favorite character in Disney’s Dinosaur. I swear that movie was my childhood omg!

Viara is super happy to have the family she’s always wanted and to share that with her father.

The second is on Kiel and Tau sharing a brain cell at the realization that Velan has kids. At the time both are surprised to know someone with kids. Idk if Cha’l and Shiyoon were expecting yet or if Kiel and Sammi had begun adopting. Regardless, Kiel and Tau are the most surprised lol
