I posted this really late, but this is a birthday present for one of my dearest friend on the whole planet @thanatasia! This is her OC Fleur based on the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance series, which holds a special place in her heart and I wanted to convey that in this image, I am also a big fan and I was extremely upset to have seen that the series was canceled on Netflix! But I’m sure the Henson company will find a way to continue it, they always have !
I’m excited for the release of The Dark Crystal: AOR. It’s definitely one of those films that shaped me early on and my love of all things creature. So heres a little “fan art” for the coming series. This is not of any particular character but I thought it’s been a while since I did anything “pretty” so why not do a Gelfling.
Loosely based on Tangled. Rian, Gurjin, Amri, and Kylan are a band of thieves roped into taking Brea out to see the world and help realize her dream. In the midst of adventure and hilarity, love blooms between the mild-mannered Spriton and the lost princess.
I drew a picture of Gurjin, with shadows and details, the body isn’t the best but I think this will be my new art style. This also took like 9 years to do so,☺️
