The Morning Show AU: Bradley and Laura being cozy at Laura’s ranch
So, I just started binging the morning show - REALLY late, I know, I know, but it was always on my list, I just never got around to it. Anyway…
I know that there’s already a fanbase for Bradley and Cory, and while I do admit that she is probably the only person Cory seems to be (somewhat) genuine with, that duet with him and Alex was… definitely something. It was just crackling with chemistry and hostility - I swear I was holding my breath the entire time- it was so fucking good!
Also, when Alex looked so shaken at the end and runs away from there, was it just me, or did Cory actually look kind of contrite?
Either way, loving this show! Aniston, Crudup and Carell are the highlights for me.
I keep thinking of this episode and just realised something:
when all this covid stuff is starting cory is very careful about being close to other people. He asked stella to step back, he jumped so hard when chip approached him (and kept his distance) and he also got this lovely box stella teased him about. but when he’s helping bradley looking for hal, he doesn’t care anymore. he’s asking people about hal and gives them flyers. and he also is going into that crowded hospital with her, squeezing through all these people to get to the reception. don’t want to say that the only thing that matters to him is bradley but i’m also not not saying it.
Who do I have to pay to see Bradley meeting Cory’s mom in 3rd season? Can you imagine Cory in the background looking puppy eyed at the most important women in his life being all nervous. And his mom telling Bradley embarrassing stories from the childhood of this big, scary CEOAh, next season has to happen just for sake of this scene
