Fellowship of the Ring Book Tag
Today, for the very first time, I’m doing a book tag on my blog! Many thanks to BiblioNyan for tagging me. She’s very cool and kind and friendly and you should check her out.
I have to admit, I’m a poor Tolkien fan. I’ve only read The Hobbit and about two thirds of The Fellowship of the Ring, although I have seen all the movies in the trilogy & the first Hobbit movie. I’ll have to get on that…
The most annoying thing ever is when my gf makes fun of me for being taller then me even though it’s only by like half an inch
BUT
It got me thinking… imagine that with Steynie?? Like one of them is an inch or so taller than the other and they won’t stop rubbing it in their face?? Cause I feel like that would happen-
Superior writing advice:
Make your characters FREAKS. Make them DERANGED. Make people think ‘surely this one guy towards the back is normal’ only to reveal FUCK NO. The guy in the back exclusively collects clown paintings (paintings done by professional clowns) and has an irrational hatred of second floors.

i watched both episodes with my mom after she asked if i’d give it a chance. she seems pretty excited for the series and it makes sense since i read the books to her when they first came out and she loved them. it’s something else we can watch together now. i definitely talked too much about everything I remember from the books but came away from the second episode neutral about it so far which was better than I expected things to turn out. The aesthetic for the children is glaringly missing but I am grateful at least that Constance’s actress is nailing the stubborn toddler vibes despite not being a toddler.
having read the books, i don’t have high expectations for the series especially because constance is supposed to
be a two year old and that’s where a decent amount of the humor regarding her interactions with other people come from. aging her up takes away the understanding of her toddler level stubbornness.
