This pisses me the fuck off. Come on people please go see this film in theaters. If the movie doesn’t do well enough we won’t get another one.
me starting a new book series: from years of experience and a general underdstanding that interesting plots don’t have happy endings, I know that some or many characters are going to die throughout the series and that I’m just going to have to accept that, because I also know that if there were no deaths then the books would be highly unrealistic and I’d stop enjoying them

New character in the Potterverse
J.K Rowling has done it again ladies and gentlemen. A new character has been released in to the Potterverse, which you can read all about it (hah, sounds like I’m doing a newspaper call out!) over at Pottermore. You need membership though.

New ‘Harry Potter’ short story on Pottermore
Rejoice Harry Potter fans for a new short story has come out! Never believed it would happen? Neither did I.
J.K Rowling has released a story set in the future, at the Quidditch World Cup, as written by Rita Skeeter. The trio is back but probably sadly, never again.

I think one of the reasons Harry Potter has such a strong, loyal following, is that it really does make people feel like they belong to a community. I bet you think that I’m stating the obvious—you wouldn’t be wrong—but I think that what the Harry Potter series does to create that feeling is so much more effective than just the immense solidarity we all generally feel as the result of being apart of such a large fandom. I believe the reason the fandom is so large and passionate—aside from the amazing story progression and compelling characters—is the plethora of specific categories the book provides that allows specific people to express themselves with. The most obvious examples of this are the Hogwarts Houses; I mean, who doesn’t get a kick out of taking sorting hat quizzes? The houses not only give you an even stronger sense of community within an already strong community, but they also make you feel like you’re a part of the wizarding world by giving you something to be proud of and to further express yourself with, while also adding a slight feeling of exclusivity through each house. It’s similar to the love many people have for buzzfeed quizzes, the mbti test, alignment charts, and even astrological signs. Sometimes I wonder what the fandom would be like if Hogwarts didn’t have any houses; would be as potent?

Erste Eindruck/ Cover:
Das Cover ist ganz cool gemacht, aber ich finde das Buch ohne Schutzumschlag schöner. Ich war so unglaublich gespannt auf dieses Buch, denn ich wollte immer wissen wie es weitergeht.
Klar gibt es da fanfictions, aber ich wollte wissen wie die Queen herself J.K Rowling sich das weiter gedacht hat. Klar sie hat es nicht geschrieben, aber es sind ja ihre Ideen. Deswegen reicht es mir schon.
Nach den ersten Seiten:
Ich bin ein bisschen enttäuscht. Ich meine, ich wusste, dass es nicht so werden würde wie die anderen Bücher, aber okay. Albus ist so unfassbar nervig, in dem er einfach alles scheiße findet, was sein Vater je getan hat. Einfach undankbar, dieses Verhalten, denn immerhin kann er dadurch in Freiheit leben.
Wen ich sehr mag, ist Scorpius, der wirklich ein guter Freund für Albus ist. Aber ich hoffe ich gewöhne mich noch ein bisschen an die neue Geschichte. Irgendwie möchte ich mir die Geschichte, aber noch ein bisschen aufheben.
Meine Meinung:
Am Anfang war ich ja nicht so begeistert und bin ein bisschen um das Buch herumgeschlichen. Die erste Hälfte hatte ich durch, doch dann habe ich nicht mehr weitergelesen.
Aber irgendwann, an einem Sonntagnachmittag habe ich wieder zu dem Buch gegriffen und konnte mich gar nicht mehr losreißen.
Es wird nach der ersten Hälfte so spannend und mitreißend. Ich habe gelacht und geweint.
Besonders toll fand ich, dass man in dem Buch sieht, das auch Harry nicht alles richtig macht. Alle Charaktere in diesem Buch machen Fehler und das macht sie sehr menschlich.
Alles in allem bin ich sehr begeistert.

Hallo meine kleinen Sonnenscheine,
Ja es war ein bewegtes Wochenende, denn bevor ich am Samstag bei Julia Engelmann war, war ich am Freitag, auch mit meiner Mutti im Kino.
Ich musste natürlich in „Fantastische Tierwesen und wo sie zu finden sind“ vor allem, da J.K Rowling das Drehbuch geschrieben hat und wohl auch bei der Produktion ihre Finger mit im Spiel hatte. Das merkte man meiner Meinung nach sehr stark, da die Tierwesen wirklich liebevoll animiert waren. Wenn man nicht wüsste, dass es sie nicht gibt, könnte man davon ausgehen, dass es die Niffler und all die anderen wirklich gibt.
Newt Scamander war ein sehr sympathischer Protagonist (#proudhuffelpuff) und auch die anderen Charaktere waren sehr nett und ich konnte mich schnell an sie gewöhnen. Auch das diesmal ein Muggel (ich mag die andere Bezeichnet No-Maj nicht so gerne) eine größere Rolle spielte, war sehr interessant.
Besonders schön fand ich den Beginn denn als das WB-Logo eingeblendet wurde, ertönte die klassische pling-plong Harry Potter Musik (https://youtu.be/Htaj3o3JD8I) und deshalb war man sofort wieder in dieser Welt drin. Außerdem musste kurz weinen im Verlauf des Filmes, sagen wir es so ich mag Abschiedsszenen nicht und vor allem nicht zwischen Menschen und Tieren. Mehr möchte ich nicht verraten da ich euch nicht spoilern möchte.
Aber „Fantastische Tierwesen und wo sie zu finden sind“ ist eine riesige Empfehlung von mir für alle Harry Potter Fans und die, die es noch werden wollen ;)
