Mini Balloons
With ww yarn and a size 4.0mm (US G) hook, ch 2 or magic ring.
1. 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook / ring (6)
2. 2 sc in each sc around (12)
3. *2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next sc* rep *-* around (18) (for stripes, change color now)
4. *2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 2 sc* rep *-* around (24)
5. *2 sc in 1st sc, sc in next 3 sc* rep *-* around (30) (change color)
6-10. sc in each sc around (30) (change color after rnds 7 & 9)
11. *sc dec, sc in next 3 sc* rep *-* around (24) (change color)
12. *sc dec, sc in next 2 sc* rep *-* around (18)
13. sc in each sc around (18) (change color)
14. *sc dec, sc in next sc* rep *-* around (12) STUFF balloon firmly
15. *sc dec* around (6)
16. in front loops only, 2 sc in each sc around (12)
FO and weave in the end.
With scrap yarn, tightly tie a knot around the narrow part of the balloon created by rnds 15 & 16. Trim the ends.
