Twice is a website that offers high-quality, name-brand, affordable secondhand clothes.

Poshmark is a website where you can buy and sell used or new clothing, much the same as Twice. They accept a wider range of brands than Twice and host shopping events and parties in a more communal kind of shopping experience.

You can get $5.00 in credit by downloading their app for iPad/iPhone here or for Android via GooglePlay here, and signing up as a new user with a referral code (mine is BTTRA.) You can also earn up to $50.00 in credit when others sign up with your referral link, and they don’t even have to buy stuff. Mara here! It’s been a while since I posted anything on this blog but please bear with me. The last couple of months have been pretty busy and I apologize for not being able to update. Hopefully this month I can start posting again.

On another note, I’d like to ask you guys a little favor. I’m going to set up an Etsy shop selling personalized sketches sometime in January of next year but I need to create samples first. Would anyone be interested in getting a free quick ink portrait in exchange for permission to post your portrait on my Etsy shop as a sample?

I mostly need individual photos but couple or group (2-3 people) photos are also welcome. Head shots are preferable. If anyone’s interested, please email me a high resolution file of your photo at [email protected] with “Etsy Sample” as the main subject and please include your mailing address if you want the original sent to you. Also, please indicate in your email that it’s okay for me to post your sketch on my Etsy shop. Credits will be given for the reference of each portrait once it is posted. You do not need to follow this blog to get a free sketch.

Once I finish your samples, I will let you know by email and I will mail them to your address whether you’re in or outside of the US.  I will only be doing these free sketches till the end of December so if you want one or if you know someone who would really like one, please let me know as soon as possible.
