Ok so I was raised on the Tintin comics and I’ve NEVER heard of this one before. My mom had the Tintin comics growing up. My grandpa traveled Europe and would always bring home some Tintin comics as his gift to them.
We have all of them, or so I thought. Until I found this one on independent bookstore day and I just HAD to buy it. Not published in the United States until 2007 as far as I can tell.
my friends jokingly suggested a modern reboot of tintin and we realised it would only a) highlight how messed up tintin’s situation is and b) show how little the world has really changed in the last century

More of this ridiculous Treasure Planet AU. I know it’s been three months in a row but I’m still invested, and this time I got to throw in Tom and Allan too! They’re up to no good, Sakharine is dramatic as ever; and Haddock has, indeed, gone soft.
I’ve gotten WAY too invested in last month’s Treasure Planet AU, so here it is again! This time feat. Tintin undercutting Calculus’ expertise, Sakharine and Haddock about to go at it, and the Thom(p)son twins being “helpful”. :V
