Took a break from animating to create this doodle. Partly inspired by @owenfishback ‘s video of Steamed Hams in Different Animation Styles.
The Kennedy Cartoons style fits surprisingly well with Maggie.

“People make fun of how I speak too”
There was this one episode of Tiny Toons where these swans were a bunch of selfish jerks to Shirley and mocked everything about her, including how she talked. And Donald has his whole speech impediment, so I thought he and Shirley can relate to each other on that point.
Also, Tiny Toon Adventures came out in the 90s and Donald was going through his grunge phase back then, so I don’t think it sounds far-fetched to say these could have been friends if they met at the time.
