I headcanon that both Asami and Mako fancy really really spicey food so one day they make this super duper spicey dish and they’re so proud of it that they wanna force Korra and Bolin to try it too, but those two don’t need much convincing because food. Asami goes “take small spoons, it’s very—” (spicey; and that’s a lot coming from her) but she doesn’t get to finish the sentence because Korra and Bolin have already swallowed their bowls. They both go “well, that wasn’t thatspic—”but then the condiments hit them full force and they literally fly to the fridge and wrestle over a carton of milk. Meanwhile, in the background, Mako is sighing and pinching his nose — the usual stuff — and Asami is all worried and runs towards Korra with a bottle of water, “sweetie, are you okay??” and Korra is just glaring at her because “what the flameo, Asami?! wHy did you feed us pOiSoN??”. Asami is really just trying not to laugh and simply steals the carton of milk from Bolin and gives it to Korra as a peace treaty while Mako has to deal with an apple red Bolin who makes angry faces at him because — according to Bolin — “ItBURRRRNNSSS!!”

In a “Friends” themed alternate universe, Bolin and Opal at Mako’s new apartment which is across Korra and Asami’s: Basically a “they were roommates” kinda situation.
Bolin, at the window, seeing Asami and Korra: Oh, look, there’s Asami and Korra! Hey, you guys! HEYYY!!

Bolin: Oh. OH! OOOOOOHHH!! KORRA AND ASAMI! KORRA AND ASAMI!!
Opal who just showed up in the room to see what her dumbass of a boyfriend is screaming about: Oh my god.
Bolin: KORRA AND ASAMI!!!
Opal: Oh my god!
Bolin: MY EYES! MY EYESSSS!!
Opal, trying to calm him down: Bolin, Bolin! It’s okay! It’s okay!
Bolin: NO, THEY’RE DOING IT!!

Bolin: YOU KNOW?!

Mako: Hey, what’s going on?
Bolin and Opal: *screaming in fake excitement*
Mako:What?
Bolin: We’re just so exicted that you got this new apartment!
Mako, moving towards the window: Actually, it looks really good—
Opal: *screaming intensifies* *practically jumps in his face*
Bolin, inviting his brother in their little screaming circle: Come join us!
Mako: *shrug* *HIGH PICTCHED SCREAMING NOISES*
Korra: Have you ever seen something so amazing that it changed your life?
Asami, smiling lovingly: I saw you.
Korra, taken aback: Wow that was so sweet and gay but this sort of makes it awkward because I was gonna show you Bolin’s drawing of Mako as a frog squirrel.
