recent attempts to nail down my interpretations of naddpod characters
top to bottom, going counterclockwise: Moonshine and Pawpaw (titty out bc of a convo that happened in naddpod discord); the Trinyvale Triplets (Jens, Onyx, Nyack); and Alanis.
I’m stuck at school for a few hours to help with an art exhibition (audience is over zoom, a select few of us students are in the school to present-) but that means that I’m here for probably 10 minutes of presenting over the span of like 8 hours so…
Anyone have any doodle requests (while I sit in our makeshift green room??)
I know I said I’d draw Eldermourne stuff but apparently I lied so here’s some Trinyvale- decided to draw Onyx and Jens in actual cool outfits I own and wear, with a bonus doodle of Nyack showing off my more “everyday” style. Yes I actually dress like all three of these it depends on the day.

@jesperr-fahey Gotta love some half-brothers half-strangers!! Based on the fact that other than drawing, I spent tonight crocheting myself a scarf- actually… a long rainbow scarf specifically… perhaps expect a cosplay of a certain Trinyvale character soon-

I’ve been listening to a lot of abba lately and I’m still in trinyvale mode and I dunno…. I’ve just been dying to draw them in jumpsuits like the cast wears at the end of mamma mia???

This is my first time using flipaclip and I haven’t made something like this in a while, so it’s a little rough but I dunno, I had a lot of fun making it and I’ll probably attempt something similar again soon

the jens and aster dynamic is truly unlike any other. you do an intricate sword dance for the young prince your age and accidentally prick him, so he and his two king dads ban you from the country. you come back years later on a divine mission and persuade him with an incredible performance. he’s rich as hell, and you seduce him so that your step brother and your weird friend from the moon can move out of your tiny apartment on his credit card. he doesn’t give a shit, but you have to pretend to propose to him so his parents don’t cut him off. you and your friends forge 4 rings, you wear two of the better ones and propose with the worst of the bunch. then you shatter a statue in his garden reciting a sugar ray lyric. he says yes. the bee butlers are in on it. the kings love that shit.
literally nearing tears at work thinking about the second Emily Axford PC constant (after them being gay, that is): the need of community and fear of isolation/abandonment. Moonshine thrives in her communities but is terrified to take the throne in hell from Pendergreens. Fig plays the “I’m so isolated” as a bit but he biggest fear is being left behind while a persona of herself takes her place. Saccharina was abandoned and felt so cold and alone, yet found comfort in her team and Cinnamon. Sophia is left by Dale and that LITERALLY destroys her which sends her narrative into motion. Even Onyx feels uncomfortable with how she left her brothers. Simply, I am terrified to see what Fia - an isolated, alone witch without community - is going to emotionally put me through
