Happy Sunday! Everything is WIP right now so I’m posting this triptych from a while back. It was based on several woodblock prints from a book called the Hortus Sanitatis published in the 1400’s.
Standing at 12ft x 6ft it’s my largest painting to date. I miss the studio days when I had all the time in the world to sink into painting a beastie like this. It took 5 weeks of non stop painting to complete! One day I’d love to make something this large again!

I’m having so much fun with these.
I’ve been making these spooky art jars lately out of old pickle jars and things, I think the blue one is my favorite. I’d like to upload them to Etsy eventually, but I’d like to get a couple more done before that.
Honestly the hardest part is just fitting them in the toaster oven. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
