[Build: The Belltower Chapel]

A place time forgot. Though it’s clearly a chapel or church, there is no clear indication of whether it is Peteran or Jacoban in origin. It is, however, a lovely place to get married, or simply to contemplate–but be careful kneeling here. There’s no telling who’s listening.

Xan here! In honor of the new Wedding Stories pack, here’s something I started as a set for a photoshoot, which quickly turned into a challenge build. I wanted to dabble in something mock-historical. The Belltower is set as a museum, which makes it a possible wedding venue, but it could just as easily be anything else. Includes an altar, nave, a whole bunch of pews and a pseudo-confessional. They’re even usable!

“They’replantscientists. Don’t be so suspicious. Just because they came from that one town doesn’t mean they’re evil. Right?”

Xan here! So, I found this house, and I wanted to try to build it–but, the Sims hates color. Then, it was going to be “the blue house” for the color-themed builds I’ve been doing, but it came out more teal? Cerulean?? Anyway, I liked it enough to want to make it something else, so here we are! There’s a lot of “strange” to it, but it’s easy to de-strange of that’s not your thing. (And the pods are harmless. Unless you place them in Strangerville. :3)

A semi-historical furniture shop, named by a man with a hangover. Whatever Woodworks is run by Loch Rainer, a former knight turned carpenter. Everything you see, he made–with one exception. And that’s not for sale.

So, Xan did this fun little historical build for a @saurusness​ box challenge last year, and it came out so good, we ended up keeping it. Fully play-tested and functional, both as a store and a house.
