WHO THEY ARE:
Plume offers safe, convenient, gender-affirming health care services for trans people, by trans people.
WHAT WE DID:
On May 26, 2021, Plume took over Tumblr dashboards with the below image. The TSD linked Tumblr users to Plume’s HRT Access Fundpage. From here, users could choose to donate to or apply for the fund, which provides 12 months of free gender-affirming care, including the cost of medications, for trans folks seeking gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT).

NAMLE got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
NAMLE, the National Association for Media Literacy Education, is the leading nonprofit membership organization dedicated to advancing media literacy education in the United States.
Media Literacy is a more pressing concern every year, and NAMLE aims to help people see it that way. That means raising awareness, performing research, and providing resources for media literacy education—every step of the process that will bring Media Literacy to a place of priority in our lives.
WHAT WE DID:
On October 20, 2020, Tumblr partnered with NAMLE to put the below gif on the top of your dash.

Free Black Therapy got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
Free Black Therapy is an organization that provides Black and African American individuals with Black mental health professionals—for free. Not only is this a crucial mission in light of the adversity faced by Black individuals on a daily basis, it’s also important for many people to find a therapist who shares their racial identity and can understand their culture and experiences.
WHAT WE DID:
On May 25, 2021, the artwork below lived at the top of your dashboard. Designed by Creatr, @banana-peppers, Free Black Therapy was able to share their cause and provide resources for Black Tumblr users seeking mental health service from Black therapists and providers. Free Black Therapy’s service are absolutely FREE.

Black Lives Matter got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
Black Lives Matter, and black lives are threatened every day by violence inflicted on Black communities. Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. is an organization dedicated to eradicating white supremacy and building local power within Black communities.
WHAT WE DID:
✊ On January 3, 2021, Black Lives Matter PAC and the Working Families Party took over the Tumblr dash with an ask for users to volunteer to make calls and mobilize voters in Georgia:

WHO THEY ARE:

WHAT WE DID:

Planned Parenthood got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
Planned Parenthood’s mission is to ensure all people have access to the care and resources they need to make informed decisions about their bodies, their lives, and their futures. Founded in 1916, Planned Parenthood is a trusted health care provider, educator, and passionate advocate in the U.S. as well as a strong partner to health and rights organizations around the world. Each year, Planned Parenthood delivers vital sexual and reproductive health care, sex education, and information to millions of people.
WHAT THEY DID:
On October 1, 2021, Planned Parenthood partnered with Tumblr to rally supporters for abortion justice and defend access to abortions at 539 rallies in every state.
On September 3, 2021, Tumblr and Planned Parenthood partnered up in response to a Texas law that came into effect September 1, S.B. 8., effectively banning abortion in the state and asking private citizens to act as bounty hunters who “enforce” the law.

Nonprofit Vote got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
Nonprofit Vote helps nonprofits engage the people they serve in voting and elections. They are the leading source of nonpartisan resources to help nonprofits integrate voter engagement into their ongoing activities and services.
WHAT WE DID:
National Voter Registration Day is a holiday devoted to ensuring every eligible American is registered to vote. Held on the 4th Tuesday of every September, the holiday is a single day of coordinated action between nonprofits, libraries, colleges and more doing on-the-ground voter registration work and major business promoting voter registration.

Release the Pressure got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
Release The Pressure is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving heart healthfor Black womenthrough education and preventative action.
WHAT WE DID:
❤️ On March 03 and March 31, 2021, Release the Pressure ran LOUDR campaigns with Creatrs art to raise awareness about Black women’s high blood pressure and the impact it has on the black community. The campaign’s goal was to get 300,000 Release the Pressure pledges to learn more about heart health by 2022. Two banners were created in honor of Women’s History Month that amplifies the image of self-care for black women. Engaging with the arts can be an act of self-care, self-love, and therapy for black communities. This campaign accomplished the following:
- Tapped into the arts through storytelling to produce energizing conversation, content, and engagement around preventive heart health actions in a smart, informative and relatable way focused on self-care & art.
- Increased Release The Pressure pledges (btw have you taken the pledge?).
- Engaged with trusted messengers (Black Women artists) to build the Release The Pressure brand through their online community – their “squads.”

WHO THEY ARE:
Shine is a Black-owned wellness app—sort of a self-care toolkit—that aims to make the process of inventorying and addressing feelings, like anxiety and depression, more accessible and approachable.
WHAT WE DID:
✨ Tumblr x Shine announced their offering to give users FREE premium access to Shine. The Shine App offered Tumblr users two chances to take advantage of this amazing opportunity.
- May 11, 2021: The Shine App offered 1-year of premium access.
- May 21, 2021: The Shine App offered 50% off of 1 year of premium access for those who missed the first opportunity.
✨ Throughout the month of May, Tumblr partnered with Shine to develop affirming mental health content for Post It Forward. Posts included:

Made Nous got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
MADE | NOUS celebrates the works of Canadian creators in film, television, video games, and digital entertainment, both in Canada and around the world. Their SEEK MORE campaign inspires Canadians to seek content and creators from more diverse backgrounds, cultures, and communities.
WHAT WE DID:
On November 4, 2021, MADE | NOUS took over the Tumblr dash to drive awareness of their integration with Canada’s Drag Race and the importance and celebration of Canadian LGBTQIA+ creators in film, TV, video games, and digital entertainment. MADE presented the runway of the Nov 4. episode which will see the Queens take the main stage as their favorite Canadian diva.
On June 27, 2021, Made Nous used their Tumblr dash takeover to run a campaign to shed light on the diverse talent in Canada in hopes that the audience watches the recommended movies/tv/games and seek more diverse perspectives in media.

Born This Way Foundation got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
Born This Way Foundation, co-founded and led by Lady Gaga and her mother, Cynthia Germanotta, supports the mental health of young people and works with them to create a kinder and braver world. Through high impact programming, youth led conversations and strategic, cross-sectoral partnerships, they aim to make kindness cool,validate the emotions of young people, and eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health.
WHAT WE DID:
On September 1, 2021, #BeKind21was an invitation to practice kindness toward oneself and others each day from September 1 to September 21 to build kinder, more connected communities that foster mental wellness. As of their kickoff in 2018, the Foundation has recruited over 200 partners, 7 million participants, and 160 million pledged acts of kindness. This year we used the below gif as a call to action.

WHO THEY ARE:
World Sleep Society is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing sleep health through research and education. To accomplish this mission, the World Sleep Society manages a variety of programs that engage the global community of sleep physicians, researchers, and professionals as well as the public. Individual members and member societies from dozens of countries form the core of the World Sleep Society.
WHAT WE DID:
On March 19, 2021, Tumblr partnered with World Sleep Society to prioritize your sleep health. Your overwhelmingly positive response let us know that Tumblr appreciated the reminder to LOG OFF & GO TO SLEEP.
Headspace got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
You’ve probably heard of Headspace—it’s a meditation app. No, not like transcendental meditation. It’s designed to encourage you to take stock of your emotions, and to take a few moments daily to focus on them, and to focus on…nothing.
WHAT WE DID:
On May 18, 2021, during Mental Wealth Month, Tumblr x Headspace offered Tumblr users 1 month of free access, and promoted a global live meditation event.
Black Voters Matter Fund got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
Not everyone who wants to vote is able to. Voting rights and access are hurdles to the democratic process, and they affect Black voters disproportionately. Black Voters Matter Fund is dedicated to addressing these hurdles in order to increase power in marginalized, predominantly Black communities.
WHAT WE DID:
Amplified a post on the Black Voters Matter Tumblr blog to Take Action in the GA runoff elections.
Promoted a post on the Black Voters Matter Tumblr to get out the vote for the Georgia Senate election.

Trill got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
Trill is an app born out of a Girls Who Code club that aims to create a safe and moderated space online for people to express thoughts and feelings that they may not be ready to publicly share—with safety and anonymity.
WHAT WE DID:
On May 7, 2021, Tumblr x Trill took over the Tumblr dash to promote their mental health community.
Throughout the summer, Trill partnered with Tumblr to produce a series of Post It Forward resources around:
-Balancing online relationships
-Self-care: Social media edition

PushBlack got LOUDR @ Tumblr
WHO THEY ARE:
No publication covers everything, and no curriculum is perfect. Black stories often slip through the cracks in the editorial process—sometimes by accident, sometimes intentionally. PushBlackis a non-profit media organization that aims to center and amplify Black stories—both historical and current.
WHAT WE DID:
On May 31, 2021, PushBlack launched a campaign to amplify Black stories. They took over the Tumbkr Dashboard to promote their podcast Black History Year and specifically highlight an episode centered around Black Wall Street. With the help of interested Tumblr users, @pushblack reported a significant uptick in clicks and new downloads the day-of promotions.
