Rapidly spreading wildfires in California, Oregon and Washington are turning the skies orange across parts of the West Coast.
In California alone, fires have burned more than 2.3 million acres. Oregon’s governor has said the crisis “could be the greatest loss of human lives and property due to wildfire in our state’s history.” At least six people have diedanddozens were rescued from the fast-approaching flames by firefighters.
This is a view of Oracle Park ahead of last night’s game between the San Francisco Giants and Seattle Mariners, which was played without spectators because of the coronavirus pandemic.

“This was somebody who literally thought that Jews control the world,” Cytron-Walker said. “He thought he could come into a synagogue, and we could get on the phone with the ‘Chief Rabbi of America’ and he would get what he needed.”
