There’s an irony in how D/s feels to me, in the way it seems inherently old fashioned, while at the same time incredibly progressive. It’s a perversion, at least when the man is Dominant, of centuries of institutionalised misogyny, and while we’ve thankfully shrugged off that most distasteful of attitudes, it seems like we’ve retained the aesthetic and practices. Corporal Punishment, heels, chores, mannerisms, all of them take their cues from the treatment of servants by ‘Employers’, or students by teachers, fifty or a hundred years ago.
I’ve got a point don’t worry. While we’re plundering the practices and tools of those times, we might as well steal their fashion and culture, too, as they’re some of the finest we’ve had. Outwardly immaculate, all grand leather and oak, and ruffles and lace everywhere. There’s little not worth pillaging from the first world circa 1850-1930, really.

Tengo una cámara Leica IIIf con un lente Summitar 50mm 1:2 de 1933. Decidí desmontar el lente para limpiarlo de algunos hongos y particulas de polvo, después de 2 horas de trabajo quedé satisfecho. Pero la verdad me faltaba algo, quería probarlo. Así que tomé la tapa frontal del cuerpo de una cámara Canon Réflex y fabriqué un adaptador para usarlo en una Canon EOS Rebel T3 que tenía a la mano. El resultado pueden verlo en las fotografías de la parte de arriba. ¡Disfruten!

I have a Leica IIIf camera with a Summitar 50mm 1:2 lens from 1933. I decided to dismount the lens in order to clear it from various fungus and dust particles, and after 2 hours of work I was quite satisfied. Yet in truth, I was missing something, I wanted to try it. Thus I took the front part of the body of a Canon Reflex camera and created an adaptor so I could use it on the Canon EOS Rebel T3 I had in hand. You can see the result in the above photographs. Enjoy!

Esto hace parte del trabajo gráfico para web y de post producción fotográfica, que he venido preparando para la estilización visual de la empresa que fundé hace ya un año y medio (creo) junto a dos soñadores más. El minimalismo siempre ha sido nuestra base, ahora las fotos tendrán como protagonistas el grano y el fuera de foco.
No estamos inventando nada, simplemente lo estamos haciendo mejor.
