Proud to be an American
There are very few albums I have on vinyl, but Somewhere in Time by Iron Maiden is one of them. It’s not necessarily my favourite Iron Maiden album (that title goes to Powerslave) but I love the artwork, and there are a number of songs on the album related to time, and I have felt recently like I’m caught somewhere in time with the throwbacks to the past I’ve had.

本格的な再始動へ向けて期待も高まっている禁断の多数決が、ウィンター・シングルを限定リリース。A面「トワイライト (Bell Rings ver.)」は、3月に電撃復帰したローラーガールと創設時から在籍する初期メンバーのブラジルがボーカルをつとめた楽曲で、デビュー曲「透明感」を彷彿とさせるドリーミーなシューゲイズ・ポップ・サウンドに、バレアリックなシンセの旋律がオーロラのように舞い降りる、切なくエモーショナルなウィンター・ソングです。B面は説明不要、Wham!によるクリスマスソングのカバー曲。曲調自体はオリジナルをトレースしながらも、ヴィンテージなコズミック・シンセ風のトラックに、ほげちゃんのソウルフルなメイン・ボーカルと、加奈子の透明感あるコーラスがフィーチャーされた、異色のガールズ・テクノ・ポップ・アレンジに仕上がりました。クリスマス仕様のレッドカラー・ヴァイナルとなります。
