• • • “Hello!” Yiren greets the camera in Korean with a bright smile, “Hello, Hello.” The girl repeats twice more, once in Mandarin and again in English with an excited wave. “I am Wang Yiren, maybe you know me?” She questions, pausing as if waiting for an answer before laughing. “Maybe not. I’ve grown a lot since a tv last saw me.” If she were upset by her statement, she doesn’t show it, dismissing it with a shrug. “I was born in Seattle, and moved to Korea when I was still young, so I’m well traveled!” Yiren smiles again, my birthday is in a little while, I’ll be twenty! Please take care of me!” She laughs while making finger hearts at the camera.

• • • “I want to be an idol!” Yiren admits with a grin. “Is that silly? I feel like it’s a common dream, but I really want it.” She pauses, pursing her lips in indecision. “My parents allowed me to become a child actor, but I really like dancing more- I’m very good at that, and I think that’s what I want to do in life! I even attend college just for it, so that should help, right? Oh! I also act in theatre shows too, so you can find me there!”
