What do u get by combining ancient china with modern AU WangXian ? Cyberpunk WangXian AU !
I’m planning to do a full AU of this idea I had one lonely night, but there is something called “virtual classes” that literally consumes all my non-existent time, maybe one day I’ll have time to plan this a lot more.

The ‘tiny bit of’ backstory for this art: - The fan on the left wall is a present from Nie Huaisang. It’s base is grey with blue sides, as well as blue and red tassels. The motive painted on it is the rabbit Wei Wuxian once drew for Lan Wangji on their lantern, with additional blue and red coloured flowers on both sides. - The three bottles of Baiju / Wine on the table below is from Ouyang Zizhen, and also represents Wangxian’s little family (as one bottle is smaller). - The golden coloured vase on the right side is a present from Jin Ling - The small paper-butterfly on the cherry blossoms is a present from Lan Sizhui - The purple coloured, adorned with cherry blossoms, room divider is a gift from Jiang Cheng - Wei Wuxian’s second layer is a Gusu Lan ceremonial robe, adorned with the Lan’s cloud symbols. He holds a bottle of Emperors Smile in his hands while smiling at his husband. - Lan Wangji is wearing his blue robes (the ones he wears when he shows his eternal love towards Wei Wuxian). He is not wearing an outer robe, since he is performing a song only for his husband. He is also smiling that tiny content smile we got to see in the last ep of CQL - Lan Wangji’s and Wei Wuxian’s robes blend into each other, indicating that, even though they are two identities, they are one. - The pond below the Cherry Tree shows early Lotus, brought forth through cultivation as a present from Lan Wangji to Wei Wuxian - and last but not least: The cherry blossoms and the glitter are there because… I love cherry blossoms and glitter:D
