4 years ago today donald trump was elected president and 16 year old me was subject to hundreds of racist anons from trump supporters telling me this country will always belong to white ppl, along with messages calling me nigger with a hard R. fast foward 4 years later i walk into a voting booth, along with thousands of other young people who endured that very scary day in 2016, and contributed to putting an end to MAGA era. Trump has now lost and a black woman is VP. Fuck donald trump, fuck trump supporters, fuck the alt right, fuck neo nazis and fuck everyone who gave this country hell for the past 4 years . they all deserve to fall in a giant puddle of battery acid<3

All fanwork, from fanfic to vids to fanart to podfic, centers the idea that art happens not in isolation but in community. And that is true of the AO3 itself. We’re up here accepting, but only on behalf of literally thousands of volunteers and millions of users, all of whom have come together and built this thriving home for fandom, a nonprofit and non-commercial community space built entirely by volunteer labor and user donations, on the principle that we needed a place of our own that was not out to exploit its users but to serve them.
Even if I listed every founder, every builder, every tireless support staff member and translator and tag wrangler, if I named every last donor, all our hard work and contributions would mean nothing without the work of the fan creators who share their work freely with other fans, and the fans who read their stories and view their art and comment and share bookmarks and give kudos to encourage them and nourish the community in their turn.
This Hugo will be joining the traveling exhibition that goes to each Worldcon, because it belongs to all of us. I would like to ask that we raise the lights and for all of you who feel a part of our community stand up for a moment and share in this with us.

So I was able to draw Bubbline officially and it’s the greatest day of my life seeing this cover and holding it in my hands!!!!!! I’m so lame but I would not be where I am art wise today if it had not been for Bubbline and all that sapphic goodness
Also drawing Lemon Grab in socks and sandals was I think the smartest choice I made
Alfred is the straight supportive grandpa, he is a great ally and everyone loves him, he makes the best rainbow cookies
Bruce is a disaster bisexual dad with a preference for women
Dick is a disaster pansexual icon, this man does not give two fucks about gender, he just loves to love everyone
Barbara is either bisexual or the best straight ally(second place to Alfred, of course)
Jason is pansexual and Polyamorous, his datemates are great and he loves them with all his heart
Tim is a chaotic gay with a coffee addiction and bad sleep habits, Kon always has to make sure that he takes care of himself
Steph is a raging chaotic bisexual, she’s like a Golden Retriver, must protect her at all costs
Cass is the best, I love Cass, she’s my smol bean and nobody’s allowed to touch her… she is either a lesbian icon or an asexual icon… or both… in any case Cassandra Cain is an icon
Damian is asexual and I also see him as demiromantic (also, I’m pretty sure him and Jon have something, it’s so pure and wholesome I just love it)
Duke Thomas, my baby is pansexual, another smol bean that must be protected at all costs… also, I think he is Non-Binary, but he uses he/him or he/they pronouns
Selina is the bisexual mom
