SUBLIME CINEMA #593 - SUPERMARKET WOMAN
Itami was the master of irreverent Japanese comedy - Tampopo and Supermarket Woman are two of my favorites. His films are so comforting, funny, strange but warm. His wife, Nobuko Miyamoto, is great in the many of his films he cast her in.
