I need to force myself to do dishes (and laundry) so I think i’ll make myself clean my kitchen by starting the dough for the pretzels i’m experimenting with for food from Kehalt

Regular shaped ones because i’ve always wanted to try to make them, the roll shaped ones have a chocolate square in them, and the braided rolls are the reason i tried this out in the first place! (Hint: they’re for future books lol)
Kehalt, one of the nations of Thiortha, is inspired by Germanic/Bohemian culture and obviously i’m gonna want the food to reflect that! The plaited rolls have two of the strands filled with a sausage, apple, and cheese mixture and it’s flavored with sage, mustard, and thyme! These rolls will be made before a long journey (because in fantasy books, the usual road trip fare is bread + cheese and if they’re lucky, a bit of dried meat/jerky lol), so i’m planning to have something similar—while still being specific to each separate country’s culture, obviously—for all the rest of my countries.
Which means i have a hell of a lot of baking to do lmao

It’s not the puppet part we’re attracted to. That would make it gross and weird. They’re well-designed fictional characters with great writing and we find them attractive like we would any good-looking human character in fiction media.
