#year-end
What word would you use that best describes 2021 and sum it all up?
Year End Update
Okay
Wow
2018 we’ve been on the MOVE
our business became much more realized
We are also homeowners once again
Toby bought a new truck @watadad
My yoga teacher training is going strong
With all of the chaos, all of the moving, all of the change…. I am more centered and grounded and SURE , than I’ve ever been in my life.
I used to THINK I was strong because of my outer shell
Now I KNOW I am strong because of my inner light
Watacouple can do anything together and we DO!
We spread love , we grow love, we show love
We feel love, we see love , we speak love
2019 will be steady and strong and sure
Our foundation is strong and we are building
Up, up, up!!
Hello, it’s me. I was wonde…Nope, I’m not doing that.
I finished second year, and passed it! that means I’m 1/3 on my way to becoming a doctor.
It’s been quite a year. I have made new friends, but simultaneously lost touch with a few old ones. I guess it is a sad reality after high school. Everyone goes their own way, my high school group has become a lot less active, and I’ve only been in consistent contact with one of them. It seems I haven’t been able to find someone I can open up to as much as him, and I guess that’s a good thing, one only needs a few good friends.
I'm currently in Hong Kong, applying for eligibility for a permanent ID. If I get it, it means I’ll be able to move back here one day. It’s an option I am happy to keep open, in case South Africa really becomes the shithole place it seems to be heading towards. It’s so nice to be back, the spirit is different, the people are different…I somewhat feel home, but not really. It’s the issues of being a second generation immigrant. You don’t feel belonging in the country you were born in, but you also don’t feel belonging in the country from which your ancestry derived.
Following is a list of changes I wish to make to my life in 2016:
- Somewhat financial independence
- A less depressing love life
- Say yes to more group events and friends
- Maintain relations with old friends
- Pick up my artsy side again
- Be less shy about working out
what an wonderful end of a not that wonderful chapter…
