Hello, I made some pieces for Onyx Path’s Heirs to the Shogunate. I touched them up from the submitted versions. I also used 3D with Blender. I’m such a noob with Blender, but blocking out the scale/perspective was very berry helpful. 

Cover illustration for Claudia Gray’s The Fallen Star, the next novel entry in the Star Wars: The High Republic series. Many thanks to Scott Biel for taking me onto this project and for his guidance, and my boyfriend for posing as my reference model (in a karate gi!)

This piece was immensely challenging because I had to overhaul some elements on a dime. The biggest one was the setting, which used to be completely different. I felt sad about that but I think the final is the right choice because it’s more suggestive and distinctive.
