I’ve seen some people saying this and when I first got into astrology, I was highly skeptical of astrology’s accuracy because people’s descriptions with this placement didn’t match with my experience w people that have virgo mercury. For a long time things didn’t make sense at all.

The main discordance with this argument is it’s contradiction to Mercury itself. Mercury is not only exalted in Virgo but it’s also domicile at the same time. So how can a MERCURY RULED mercury sign itself, a domicile mercury (spelling it out for those that make this claim) be reserved and unexpressive…when IT’S WHERE MERCURY REACHES IT’S FULL FUCKING POTENTIAL? Make it make sense. Virgo is an extremely analytical and logical sign, it looks for the plot holes, flaws and inconsistencies to improve things.
Because Virgo is emotionally contained, people automatically fall into the trap of making the hypotheticalassumption with no real life experience or statistical research that they are reserved and less talkative - when in real life, most virgo mercury natives are highly animated (especially leo sun ones or those with mercury conjunct sun), upbeat, waggish, quizzical and wordy with their communication. Their tone of voice is in harmony with the story they tell or the presentation they make and when it comes to a serious topic, their tone takes a solemn and extremely straight forward form. They refrain from talking about deep emotions but that’s completely irrelevant to their communication style. Funny how the flaw in this logic is called out by a virgo mercury native, me :D

jupiter in 6th house is great because it brings you really random luck, you are always victorious over enemies, gains from friends and easily attracting wealth especially if it’s exalted or domicile PLUS you never run out of energy lmao
To expand more on this, 6th house jupiter creates what is called a “Vasumathi Yoga” in vedic astrology which is a wealth and abundance giving yoga. It’s effects are strong especially if jupiter is exalted (in cancer in sidereal chart). It gets especially better and better with time
Hasta is venus’ debilitation, so this is where venus takes a sinister side; Hasta is associated with the maiden and fairies - they tend to seem innocent, but they have a very mischevious and cunning (fairy) mind where they can easily put up an illusion as a front to their cunning mind and hide their motives (Hasta is literally ruled by Mercury x Moon). Their innocent appearance attracts more dominant people and because venus is debilitated in virgo, they tend to accept to abide and love conditionally; meaning if the other person can bring a lot of benefits into their lives. Venus in pisces, it’s exaltation point loves unconditionally and without expectations. That is not the case with virgo venus, they will drop you at the hint of an unpleasant behavior that make them cringe.

The idea that spawned Toffee was the Heart Eclipsing Shroud charm only instead of useful disguises and false identities, it was just the personalities of the previous owners of the Solar exalted soul coming out to reek havoc. Jackal, being the OG blessed by the Unconquered Sun was the strongest and also a First Age egomaniac.
Trying to figure out what Twinned Chaos Jackal looks like. Leaning towards elfish looking dude with wavy/curly hair and lots of body jewellery, but need to break waifish boy drawing habits and make him older and bigger. _(:3」∠)_
Also I drew his wife, she’s his Lunar mate, probably has a totem(?? fursona? IDK I don’t play lunars) of one of those parasitic, mind-controlling wasps. I never really made a character for her but anyone who is mystically compatible with Jackal has got to be as manipulative, abusive, and incapable of affection and romance as him. I imagine their relationship as some kind of political checkmate that both parties are internally repulsed by. I mostly invented her because it amuses me that Jackal’s ego is larger than life but he isn’t larger than wife.

In his prime, Methuselah the Savant headed a private academy of sorcerers, an outfit dedicated to reforming the common perception of thaumaturgical arts. He dreamed of one day seeing sorcerers welcomed into communities where they could work in unity for the betterment of all creation. This dream drove him to sorcerous excellence and Exaltation as students flocked to him that he might bestow his wisdom and strength. So fervent were his beliefs that none could fathom how deep his despair upon finding his efforts were for naught.
After one of his longer sojourns in the farther reaches of Creation he returned to find his charges secluding themselves in their studies, and, with the power he had given them, lording above their peers and the people he had sent them to assist. Enraged by their betrayal he lashed out, drawing power from a darkness he never wished to know, as he sealed the souls of a thousand sorcerers in an ornate tome. As the last of his students fell so did the veil of madness fall from his mind and the horrors of what he had done overwhelmed him. In the bindings of the tome he threaded the hope of the dream he’d failed.
Shaping Rituals
When the sorcerer takes the first shape sorcery action to begin casting a spell and stunts it with a description of how she casts the spell through the tome or draws on its power, she gains (stunt rating + 2) sorcerous motes towards completing this spell. This benefit can only be received once per scene. Stunts to enhance the sorcerer’s control spell do not count against the once per scene limit.
A sorcerer with an Essence pool may spend a scene in contemplation to commit ten motes to the tome. Once she begins shaping a spell while carrying the tome, she may draw on the power she’s invested, contributing up to (Essence + 2) sorcerous motes towards the spell until the full commitment of ten motes has been converted into ten sorcerous motes, or the spell is cast (or countered). Committed motes are converted to sorcerous motes on a one-to-one basis normally, but are converted into two sorcerous motes when casting the sorcerer’s control spell. The sorcerer must wait until she’s had a full night’s sleep before she can charge the tome again.
The knowledge of the sorcerers within the book is incomplete, and they yearn for more lest it quell their torment. Whenever the sorcerer successfully rolls to introduce a fact about a source of ancient knowledge or wisdom, such as the ruins of a First Age city or a being from the Time Before, she gains sorcerous motes equal to the extra successes on the roll. These motes last for the duration of the story, and can be spent towards any spell she casts. She may bank up to (Essence + Willpower) sorcerous motes this way.
Evocations
Open-Book Insight

The sorcerers housed within the tome are privy to centuries of mystical research. Once per day, the wielder may activate this Evocation to gain a temporary Lore specialty in sorcery and reduce the cost of the Lore Excellency on sorcery-related rolls to 1 mote per 2 dice.
Beholding the Exalt’s measured stance and studious care, those who witness her sorcery are filled with a sense of ease. With this Evocation she may use the successes from a spell shaping roll to instill a Tie of trust towards her magic, or erode a negative Tie towards it. Additionally, if she performs a sorcerous working in a public area, she may choose to have those benefited by the results form a Tie of trust towards the magic that made the working.
While the book itself cannot be shared, far be it from Methuselah’s vision that his initiates would cloister their knowledge. This Evocation permanently upgrades Flowing Mind Prana (Exalted, p. 331). Should a student place his hands upon the tome, the Exalt may use this Evocation to instantly complete his training in Lore or Occult. Further, the student also receives a free sorcery-related specialty in Lore or Occult, chosen by the wielder. However, the student does not take on the Solar’s Intimacies as normal, but instead gains or strengthens a Principle of ‘Sorcery should be used in the service of forging amity’. This Principle behaves in every other way as an Intimacy conferred by Flowing Mind Prana. If she knows Selfsame Master Instructor (Exalted, p. 333), the Solar may also teach spells instantly with this Evocation.
Additionally, those who receive the knowledge from the tome also gain a pool experience points equal to the wielder’s (Intelligence + Lore) which may be spent to pass the knowledge onto others. These students learn at an accelerated rate, with training time reduced by half.
Exhume the Dreamer
Cost: 10m, 1wp; Mins: Essence 4 Type:Simple Keywords:Perilous Duration: One scene Prerequisites: Unbound Knowledge
As his final act on Creation, Methuselah placed his own hun into the bindings of the book, both as a punishment for the atrocities he committed on his peers and as a release from the melancholy of disappointment and failure. Activating this Evocation fills the Exalt’s body with the spirits of the dead who reside within the tome, the foremost of which is that of Methuselah himself. For the duration, any Intimacies of contempt she holds towards others are suppressed. They cannot modify her Resolve, and violating them does not cause the Exalt to accrue Limit. In addition, she gains a pool of 15 charges to spend on the following powers:
Add dice or successes to an Occult or Lore roll (1 charge per die, or 2 charges per success)
Convert motes into sorcerous motes (1 charge per mote converted)
Refresh to 15 charges (3a, 1wp or 1ahl, 1wp; once per round in combat)
Initiate others into sorcery under Methuselah’s Dream as a simple dramatic action lasting at least 8 hours (15 charges). The Exalt may initiate multiple students at once by paying a point of Willpower for each additional student.
However, channeling such power is dangerous. Should the wielder expend all of her Willpower and all of her charges, the souls of the dead rush back into the tome, taking hers along with them.
This Evocation can only be used once per story, unless reset by upholding a positive Major or Defining Tie by using sorcery to defend a community from a significant threat.
Those initiated into Methuselah’s Dream may choose from the following shaping rituals:
While an accomplished sorcerer may not be a paragon of social conduct those drawing power from Methuselah’s Dream endear themselves to others through their skill and determination. After using sorcery to save or protect an oppressed peoples she may attempt to instill in them a positive tie of friendship, adding (Occult) dice to her social influence roll. Once per scene she may add to her shaping roll sorcerous motes equal to the strongest positive tie she instilled or strengthened during this story. Generating motes this way to shape the sorcerer’s control spell does not count against the once per scene limit.
A true follower of Methuselah’s dream is never alone and draws power from the strength of her allies. Whenever the sorcerer takes a shape sorcery action, she may gain sorcerous motes equal to the number of allies within medium range of her, up to a maximum of ten motes per scene and each ally may only be tapped once. Allied battle groups tapped for motes instead contribute (Essence) motes, and may be tapped (Size) times. If the sorcerer draws Essence from her allies to fuel her control spell, the motes she draws do not count against the scene limit.
A follower of the Dream can bond with other sorcerers, marking them with a magical sigil of friendship. When their bond-mates begin shaping a spell the mark glows, storing sorcerous motes equal to their (Occult), this effect does not stack but should the mark be fully depleted it will draw motes again should a bond-mate begin another shaping. Motes will linger in the mark until then end of the scene, during which the sorcerer can draw on them to fuel her own spells adding any amount of motes stored in the mark to her shaping roll.

Evocations of Sleeping Wolf
Looking upon its wielder none could imagine the horrors she could wreak on her foes. Even as another ventures beyond her facade, he only finds in her a depth of kindness uncommon in even the most philanthropic of folks. If anyone suspicious of her motives fails to overcome the wielder’s Guile on a read intentions action, he finds only her benevolence. This is equivalent to a Minor Tie of trust towards the wielder. An affected character may pay one point of Willpower to shake off the effect and become immune to it for the rest of the scene. However, if his Resolve is lower than the wielder’s Guile, he does not notice or remember his exertion.
The Evocations of this weapon cause foes deeply intimidated by the wielder to become daunted. Daunted enemies suffer a -1 penalty to Defense against attacks made by the wielder, as well as a -1 dice penalty on attack rolls against her.
The demure curve of the Exalt’s smile turns wolfish as she is beset by foes, and by inaction she brings to the fore her greatest weapon: confidence. Instead of drawing her weapon, the wielder may roll (Appearance + Presence). This is treated both as her Join Battle roll and as an inspire roll against all enemies who can see her. Those whose Resolve is overcome are inspired with fear and become daunted.
Special activation: Unless the wielder is dissonant with moonsilver, this Evocation awakens at no cost the first time she is about to Join Battle against an enemy who has a Major or Defining positive Tie towards her.
Lunging towards its quarry, the Wolf rings out with an eldritch keening as wind moves through the punctures along its spine. A successful withering attack applies the attack roll’s threshold successes against the target’s Resolve as an attempt to create a Tie of fear towards the wielder, or if he already has one, to make him daunted. A daunted enemy instead suffers a -2 penalty to movement, command and social actions until the end of his next turn.
The only thing more thrilling than the kill is the chase. Should her quarry turn heel, the Wolf fills his wielder with a sublime thirst allowing her to lash out at the coward with unnatural speed. If the Exalt successfully contests an opponent’s disengage action, she may activate this Evocation to reflexively roll a withering attack against him. The wielder gains no Initiative from this attack. If this attack deals at least one point of damage, he is inspired with fear and becomes daunted. An opponent who was already daunted instead immediately falls prone from sheer terror.
Beware the Dog
Cost: 5m, 1wp; Mins: Essence 3 Type:Simple Keywords: Psyche, Perilous, Dissonant, Resonant Duration: One scene Prerequisites: Such Big Teeth We Have, Baying Hounds Chase
As the wielder of the Wolf finally reaches for her weapon, a sense of doom overwhelms the battleground. Those who catch the glint of Sleeping Wolf’s steel cannot help but feel that a grievous misstep has been made. This Evocation can only be activated if the wielder has not yet drawn Sleeping Wolf in this scene, and it ends should the wielder sheath or lose grip of her weapon.
From the moment she draws her weapon, daunted enemies treat the Wolf as the subject of any negative Ties they may have toward the wielder. All enemies with a Tie of fear towards the Wolf suffer a penalty of (Intimacy + 2) dice to rolls to disengage from the wielder or to contest a rush by the wielder.
Dissonant: The wielder loses one point of Initiative at the beginning of each turn that this Evocation is active.
Resonant: The first time the wielder succeeds at a rush against a daunted opponent, she regains a point of Willpower.
Whetted with blood, the wielder turns on those who remain as the Wolf becomes her. Once per scene, after incapacitating or forcing a non-trivial opponent to surrender using His Master’s Dog, the Solar may activate this Evocation to roll Join Battle. If used in conjunction with Such Big Teeth We Have, enemies suffer a -2 penalty to their Resolve to resist the inspire roll as their will is shattered by the wielder’s ferocity.
The Wolf’s bloodlust reaches even those outside of his master’s grasp, and she need only loosen his leash. The blade leaps from the wielder’s hand as moonsilver and anima join to become a body of a great wolf that leaps to obey his master’s command. This Evocation is a difficulty 4 gambit against a daunted target at short range, sending the Wolf to hamstring her quarry before it faithfully returns to her hand. If successful, her foe suffers a -3 penalty to all movement actions and treats all ground as difficult terrain.
This crippling lasts for (Essence) days unless treated by magic such as Wound-Banishing Strike (Exalted, p. 342). Mortals may require special treatment to heal the injury. Botching the attack roll causes the Wolf to instead become embedded in scenery at short range. Using this gambit does not end Beware the Dog unless the wielder botches.
Dissonant: Characters dissonant with moonsilver cannot awaken this Evocation.
Let Sleeping Wolves Lie

The child cried thrice, but there was no Wolf. As the fight ends and the blade is returned to its scabbard, the bloody horror of the Wolf fades like a hazy dream and an eerie calm surrounds the wielder. This Evocation permanently upgrades its prerequisite. If any daunted enemies remain when she ends Beware the Dog by sheathing her weapon, the wielder may pay one point of Willpower to make a special (Presence + Manipulation) instill roll to permanently shift any negative Ties they hold towards her onto the Wolf. Enemies may resist this effect by paying one point of Willpower.
Resonant: Enemies must pay three Willpower to resist unless they hold a Principle offended by the wielder.
As the Wolf lunges forward for the killing blow, the wielder presents her prey with a choice: the Wolf’s mercy, or her own. The target suffers a Defense penalty against this attack equal (his strongest Tie of fear towards the wielder or the Wolf). If the target is daunted, he subtracts a further two points from his Defense.
If the enemy chooses the Wolf’s mercy, the sword snarls as monstrous fangs sprout from its edge and tear into its prey. The damage roll gains double 9s, or double 8s if the target is daunted or holds a Major or Defining Tie of fear towards the wielder. If both are true, the damage roll doubles 7s.
If he instead chooses the wielder’s mercy, he is forced to accept a crippling injury (Exalted, p. 201) as the Wolf gores his flesh. He must mitigate as much of the damage as possible with this injury. This does not count against the once per story limitation on taking crippling injuries. With this choice, the target surrenders the fight and accepts a Defining Tie of fear towards the wielder and the Wolf as every waking moment reminds him of what he lost.
This Evocation can only be used once per scene, unless reset by using Howling Blade Strike to land 4 withering attacks against daunted non-trivial enemies and building to Initiative 15+.

She’s a twilight-caste solar exalt. A huge dweeb with a big heart, she’s in way over her head right now. The undying sun has granted her power over the sun’s control of night and day, which basically means she has time powers.
