I think i might get a bit under fire for this opinion.
But I am gonna say it, I dont care
So in my personal opinion
I think a lot of people might disagree but, Ray and Good Ending Saeran has some prominient similar personality traits and tendencies as that of Yoosung, despite both of them have drastically different pasts.

In their respective routes both of them grew from lacking self esteem to slowly and steadily gaining confidence in the end.
Both of them are initially naive and guilliable which makes them get easily manipulated into doing something destructive which Rika did to Saeran and you yourself have to manipulate Yoosung for the infamous Yandere ending (bad ending 1)
Both of them are soft hearted and emotionally sensitive which makes them empathetic to others emotions. For example we see Yoosung comforting us from time to time in certain routes and helping us to understand the person whom we are pursuing. In Saeran’s case we see his empathetic side when he understands Rika’s state of mind in the After ending when she had captured him.
Both of them are fiercely loyal to MC to the point that they both dont give a damn about sacrificing their own lives for MC’s sake. For example Saeran throws himself to Rika to help Saeyoung and MC escape in the After ending, Yoosung decides to take the matter in his own hands by tackling Unknown to help Saeyoung escape with the detonator.
And to add more to the previous point, there is a certain bad ending in Saeran’s After Ending, which is similar to Yoosung’s bad ending 3.
Both of them tend to be clingy towards MC in their respective routes due to having suffering from severe abandonment issues.
And both of them also have a tendency to be extremely passionate about their favorite topics, flowers in Saeran’s case and video games in Yoosung’s case.
The only difference between them is their backstories and the fact that Yoosung is more bubbly, expressive,friendly and playful while Saeran is more reserved stoic and a bit more serious but thats only because of their backstories.
Listen Im fucking tired of all this hating on Yoosung and whining about how he “loves Rika” and “obsesses” over her.

First of all, you may already know that every time Yoosung is asked if he had romantic feelings, he says no. Second of all, he tells you THAT YOU ARE HIS FIRST LOVE. The comparison only lasts two days then he gets his shit together and apologises: he compares you to the closest FAMILY member he ever had which he intended well meaning, its not like comparing you to an expartner or someone he romantically loved.
MEANWHILE everyone else besides Zen and Jaehee (and Yoosung) had romantic feelings for Rika at some point. Jumin, Seven, V(well its rather an obsession with him), i probably guess Ray too but I dont know shit bout him.
Yet ya all bitch around about a pure guy, to whom you are already like closest family after a few days of getting to know each other.
But ya know… Keep whining around… while Jumin and probably the others too are the ones actually comparing. I didnt play the other routes yet so i cant quite tell if its like that, but jumin does and seven says that he has feelings for Rika.

I never liked the Rika “jokes” in the first place, but this made me fully realize how fucked up they are
