Thanks so much to everyone who checked out my stuff at the MCA Zine Fair! My mum and BF, Josh, had a great day and passed on your messages. It really cheered me up as I was stuck at home sick and quite bummed out to have missed the zine fair. My shops are closed at the moment as I recoup and restock, will be a minimum of 2 weeks and I’ll keep you in the loop. I’ll also have a stall at the Other Worlds Zine Fair on May 27th! One stall down, one more to go! The MCA Zine Fair is on tomorrow from 10.30-4.30pm! My awesome Mum and supportive BF, Josh, will be running my half table for me, as I’m unable to be there in person thanks to my health. It’s always great day out, zine fairs are my fave! Bay Area Queer Zine Fest is holding a two-day zine symposium at the Institute of Contemporary Art in San Francisco, United States on March 19th - 20th, 2022!
Brixton Library LGBTQ+ Zine Fair happen on 5 February, 2022 in London, U.K. Apply for a stall!
The first annual Watertown Free Public Library (WFPL) Zine Fest takes place Saturday October 2nds, 2021 in Watertown, Greater Boston, MA.

Hamilton Zine Fest took place in Kirikiriroa (Hamilton), Aotearoa (New Zealand) in May 2021, but I’m still a little in love with the poster.
Far from being an end of days scenario, the visuals refer to the Meteor Theatre, which hosted the event.
The good folks at the Sick And Disabled Zine And Craft Fair are holding an Instagram Live workshop this Sunday, 27 June!

MeetJohnny Walsh - the amazing person behind Infocult - a fanzine about strange information.
I was reminded of him today, as I wondered about the possible future of zine fests, in a world of climbing temperatures and potential waves of pandemics, which compel us / allow us to increasingly move our events outside.
I met Johnny at the 2019 Staten Island Zine Fest in New York City (my second outside zine fest, after 2017’s Athens Zinefest).
He’s an incredibly fascinating person, who was very generous with his time and even allowed me to interview him.
I bought a stack of zines from him, including copies of ‘Dishwasher’ and publications I’d only been able to read about previously.
Wherever he is, I hope he’s well and thriving. It was lovely meeting him and experiencing zines and music outdoors.
