I just thinking about modern!au Wenzhou in Dirk Gently universe all day. I’m not a ficwriter and my eng isn’t great, but I hope that will inspiring someone to write something awesome.

Just imagine, Zhou Zishu is broken men, who only wants to die rn. Today was a definitely one of the most horrible day with a lot of strange things to happen, but he finally quited his ungreatful work. And now he’s sitting on his chair and thinking about what he should do next to his life. Suddenly he’s feeling a danger. Someone is climbing into his open window! What the hell? The figure breaking in and looking at him with his big dark eyes and astonishing smile and saying: Hi!

They getting into fight. Zhou Zishu is attacking him, but stranger is blocking every his punch. It feels like the fight with an old friend. Zhou Zishu is presently surprise by that. And when they’re blocking another attack of each other, the stranger is saying:

- Stop it! Can we just talk?

- Talk about what? How did you get in here?

- The window, obviously. Do you attack everyone who comes in here? Seems like a weird thing to do, but live and let live..

- You can’t just break into my apartment!

- Clearly, I can. I just did..

- I’ll call the police or breaking you something. Your choice. - the coldest smile is touching his lips. - What do you want from me anyway?

The stranger grabs ZZS’s wrist and give him the curious look.

- I’m trying to decide whether you’re a clue, an accomplice, or an assistant. Or maybe a universe giving me a soulmate? How interesting! - the man smiles and winks.

- Who are you? What is this? - ZZS is asking and getting out of strangers hands.

- Have you noticed an acceleration of strangeness in your life as of late? Perhaps a series of intense or extraordinary events, which, as of now, seem unconnected, with the expectation of each being separately bizarre? Perhaps every day before now has, for the most part, been humdrum and inane, your life a mundane. And then suddenly, today, everything changed, and your life became a swirl of interesting activity?

Zhou Zishu upper his eyebrow and give sceptical look to the stranger. And how did he ended here?

- An assistant. I knew it. - The man smiles again and looking on Zhou Zishu with admiration. He stepping unappropriate closer to ZZS and whisper on his ear.

- How lucky I’m to have so handsome assistant. - The stranger step back and wink. He walking passes by frozen Zhou Zishu.

- Oh, my name is Wen Kexing. I’m a detective, I live here now, and… - He lays down on the couch. - I’ll be sleeping here tonight.
