Cinnabar came home on August 30th, 2017.

He was a light in one of the worst years of my existence.

He brought purpose back to me when all i wanted to do was die and reunite with my disappearing family.

He was 30 grams when he came home, and only 2 and a half months old.

We’ve been together two years now, and I’m absolutely in love with this nasty man.

i have not been able to teach baz to stop barking but i HAVE been able to teach baz that if he barks outside, he needs to come in

which has led to baz running as fast as he can into the house with frantic desperation while screaming at the top of his lungs any time he hears another dog outside

the worst part about having a wingnut dog is that other people who meet him never get to know the real him. i’m glad i can share the real baz with all of you. ❤️ he’s spectacular.

2 Years of Comment Exchange

Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of the Comment Exchange! Can you believe it? Because I certainly can’t.

I’m sorry I didn’t make a post about it yesterday, I was too busy.

Thank you to everyone who participated, helped out, commented, submitted and spread the word over the last two years. Without you, I probably would have given up a couple of months in.

A few Statistics:

• According to the number on the submissions, we are up to 255 works, but since a few of those submissions have been removed for one reason or the other, the bookmark count on the CommentExchange AO3 account is probably more correct with 247 works
• The fandom with the most works is Tales of Arcadia as of now
• The ship with the most works is James “Bucky” Barnes/Steve Rogers
• 236 of the works submitted are fanfictions
• The most popular tag across all of the works on our masterlist is Fluff with 44 works that use it on AO3
• Comment Exchange currently has 412 followers and has made 914 posts, including this one

To celebrate 2 years I’m dropping the comment-first-rule for the rest of May. Of course I would still appreciate it if you comment on one of the works on our masterlist anyways, especially on works in the no-comments-yet-tag.

Bae is gone, it’s just me now

Woah? 2 years, thats the FASTEST. You wasted everything as in EVERYTHING. I thought this “thingy” will last forever. Toinks! I’m wrong. 2 years that’s the maximum? HAHA. Oh well what can i say? or what should i say?:’) 

I love looking out the window at Kovu as he wanders the yard because he’ll just be like, sniffing a rock with nobody around and wagging his tail with his entire body. Every day is the best day of his life and I love him so much.

So our foundations agility class was a little underwhelming since kovu already knew everything except walking over a pvc ladder and walking over hula hoops which he didn’t even really need to learn how to do since he got both right the first try but god is it satisfying to have such a cool dog. He just walked next to me evenly over the ladder and carefully stepped over the hula hoops without disturbing any of them. I shuffled some with my feet accidentally on purpose because the purpose of the exercise seemed to be that they move. I’m not even sure if he didn’t notice or didn’t care but he certainly wasn’t bothered about it
