So apparently I need to introduce myself, which is bloody stupid.
The name’s Oscar Constantine, I’m 28 years old, born Jan 2, and the drummer of the Auroras. Yeah, I’m British, mum was a Brit, I grew up in Sherborne, Dorset.
Before any bloke asks, yeah, I’m John Constantine’s kid. We don’t speak. Don’t ask. I can’t do magic as far is I know.

The event has ended, and while we only got one submission, six of the works from the no comments yet tag got a comment since the event was announced, which is great!

I added a bookmarker’s tag to the works who haven’t gotten comments yet on AO3, so you can look through them there and use the AO3 filters.

The comment first rule is still suspended until Wednesday, so if you have some fan works you think deserve more attention, please submit them.
To celebrate our 2nd anniversary, you can submit works without commenting on another work first for the rest of May.
2 Years of Comment Exchange
Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of the Comment Exchange! Can you believe it? Because I certainly can’t.
I’m sorry I didn’t make a post about it yesterday, I was too busy.
Thank you to everyone who participated, helped out, commented, submitted and spread the word over the last two years. Without you, I probably would have given up a couple of months in.
A few Statistics:
- According to the number on the submissions, we are up to 255 works, but since a few of those submissions have been removed for one reason or the other, the bookmark count on the CommentExchange AO3 account is probably more correct with 247 works
- The fandom with the most works is Tales of Arcadia as of now
- The ship with the most works is James “Bucky” Barnes/Steve Rogers
- 236 of the works submitted are fanfictions
- The most popular tag across all of the works on our masterlist is Fluff with 44 works that use it on AO3
- Comment Exchange currently has 412 followers and has made 914 posts, including this one
To celebrate 2 years I’m dropping the comment-first-rule for the rest of May. Of course I would still appreciate it if you comment on one of the works on our masterlist anyways, especially on works in the no-comments-yet-tag.
