#a and b

LIVE

˗ˏˋprompts : meet cuteˎˊ˗

  • A fell asleep on public transport. B is sitting right next to them, and as they see the next stop coming up, they wake A up to ask if it’s their stop. (bonus points if Bcaught glimpses of them while they slept, adoring how peaceful they looked!)

  • A lost something in public and is freaking out. that is, until Bfound whatAwas looking for, and asks if it’s theirs.

  • it’s raining/snowing and BnoticedAis without proper clothing/equipment, like an umbrella or a jacket. so what does B do? they ask if A wants their only jacket/asks A if they want to share an umbrella.

  • AandB get paired up for a boring project, but together they make it fun!

  • the classic “the parents dragged AandB to a boring party and they become friends.”
  • B gets something tasty looking from a restaurant/cafe/etc. and, despite A being shy or nervous, they ask what it is.

  • A wants the last of something (ex. a donut or bag) but they and B grab it simultaneously. now they stare at each other for a little too long before B frantically says, “you can have it!” and then they go back and forth insisting the other can have it. (bonus points if their hands touch!)

  • AandB are sitting next to each other on a long flight. despite them going to the same place, it’s for completely different reasons. A is going for a funeral, and B is going for a friend’s wedding. out of nowhere, A starts crying, and though it’s hardly audible, B notices and starts comforting Aimmediately.by the end of the flight, they both have each other’s numbers!

  • no one said these had to be realistic, right? perfect. A is out in public and sees a familiar figure. the thing is, A is mistaking B, a stranger A has never saw until now, for their best friend. A quickens their walking to catch up with their “best friend.” when they eventually do, they scare them from the back, but when B turns around, A’s smile falls. AexpectsB to get reasonably upset, but instead, B laughs. a strong friendship (maybe even a romantic relationship?) ensues.

  • again, might be unrealistic yet adorable! A finds a cat/dog on the street, but they don’t have a collar, so A starts treating them as their own. that is until B starts knocking on people’s doors, describing the pet and asking if anyone has seen them. when B gets to A’sdoor,A immediately knows they have that exact pet. depending on who you portray A to be, they may consider lying and saying they don’t have it, but in the end, they end up giving the pet back. the pet, however, is very attached to A, and tries to stay. B notices this and tells A that they can keep the pet, just as long as they stay in contact so B can visit it whenever! a strong relationship between AandB ensues :)

“Naw, it’s fine–”

“I think your arm is broken,” B says sharply, stepping up to their injured friend, who immediately recoils.

“I can handle it,” A chokes out.

“You’recrying.”

A shakes their head, moving their free grip from their injured arm to over their mouth. It does nothing to suppress the tears and sobs.

“No, it’s fine…!” A smiles, a terribly shaky and not at all convincing show of bravado. “It’s just my pain tolerance, ’m just being a bitch right now…”

  • Scenario 1: Ally

“And if we could do that,” A concludes, turning towards their goal, “then yeah, everything will work out. It’ll be great…!”

B stares at A. Their eyes go from their friend’s back, down to their hands. “You’re shaking.”

A tenses slightly, then clenches his hands. He turns back towards B and smiles. “That’s probably the adrenaline, right? Can’t jump into danger without some of that.”

Even with his hands clenched, the tremors can be seen trailing their way up from his fists, to his arms, to his shoulders. B steps forward and places a hand on A’s arm.

“N-No really,” A says. The shaking becomes more obvious and makes its way into his smile. “I’m doing fine…”

  • Scenario 2: Antagonist

“So I guess we’re supposed to be working together now.”

“Yeah,” A mumbles, gaze locked determinedly on his work.

“And how do you feel about that?”

“It’s… whatever.”

B allows a smirk to creep onto their face. They walk up to A until they are standing a mere three inches from him. A doesn’t look up from his work, but he isn’t actually doing any work either, not anymore.

“Back off,” A says through grit teeth.

B trails their eyes up A’s body. “You’re shaking,” they coo.

A slams his hands against his work station and turns on B with a glare that does not quite match his stance. Like a rabbit attempting to snarl.

“Back off,” A snaps again.

B crosses their arms, meeting A’s glare with a widening smirk.

“…Please,” A adds quietly.

B lunges forward, and A recoils, arms rising instinctively to shield himself. B steps back, laughing.

“Awwww, you’re still just as much fun as you used to be!”

A’s face reddens and he opens his mouth, likely to give some yip of a retort. B lunges forward again, and A’s retort dies as a choked gasp as he again flinches back.

Allowing another short laugh, B leans back and sighs contentedly. “Well for the record, I am very much looking forward to working with you.”

A doesn’t reply or look at B. There’s a tremor in his still raised arms.

A grit his teeth. “You wouldn’t dare!”

Blunged at him. A recoiled, slamming back against the chair he was tied to, before B stopped just inches from his face.

“…Do you really want to test that theory?” B whispered lightly.

A could barely hear the question over his own rapid breaths.

WARNING: death of a friend, grief

“I’m…” A weak cough. “I’m not gonna make it, am I…?”

No reply. Just slow embrace and the soft bump of one forehead against the other as tears fall from a face that can no longer hide them.

“Hey… Hey, it’s okay… We both knew this would happen eventually…”

B simply held onto A’s hand tightly, tears continuing to run down their face.

“Granted, in my case I was hoping it would be a bit more ceremonious but, y’know…” A let out a weak but genuine laugh, which devolved quickly into coughing and grimacing. “You’ll be fine… You’ll do great, I know you will.”

B sniffed and nodded. “…I’ll– I’ll try to believe you.”

“Hell yeah, go get ‘em–” A bit back another groan of pain as they curled in on themselves.

“…H- Hey, B…?” A said hoarsely, breathing beginning to pick up a bit more.

“What’s up?”

“I kn-know this sucks, but could you–” Another flinch. “Could you… stay with me…? Until, y’know…”

B tightened their grip on A’s hand, their other hand cupping A’s face gently. “I wasn’t planning on anything else.”

A smiled, just a little. “That’s… That’s good. Y- You really are gonna do awesome, B, I jus’ know it…”

And so the two stayed where they were, heedless of any approaching dangers as B remained by their friend’s side one last time.

Imagine A who likes giving themselves extremely upset stomach and B who likes when A gets bellyache. They decide to do a week of night bellyache and every evening A does something that gives them stomach problems.

Night 1.

A eats a lot of raw dough whith yeast. Soon they get very bloated and suffer all night while B just huggs them and gives belly rubs.

Night 2.

A receives an enema and holds it in until the morning.

Night 3.

A eats a lot all day and drinks a bottle of oil before going to sleep. Oil is a very strong laxative, so A messes all bed (and B) with shit. They can’t sleep because of terrible bellyache and diarrhea.

Night 4.

A eats some bath bombs and drinks water. The storm in their belly is incredible. They fart and burp all night, sprinkling the bed with diarrhea.

Night 5.

A eats a lot of cabbage, raw beans and then takes a 5 doses of inulin. B plugges them and soon they get extremely bloated. They are moaning and squirming all night long from terrible gas pain in their guts.

Night 6.

A receives an enema with something that gets solid after few minutes. Their guts get filled with this material and A feels a big cramps. In the morning they drink something that makes material liquid again.

Night 7.

A eats gas-producing food, bath bombs, drinks a bottle of laxatives, receives an enema and get plugged. Combo!
