LIVE

So it’s been established that both johnny and daniel could cook. However, Johnny has a long way since he’s still eating certain foods that’s beyond their expired date. While Daniel could cook based of experience and learning from his mom.

Long story short, I watched those food videos where someone goes all over the world trying new foods and the telling the history behind them for two days now and a fanfic idea came to mind.

Hear me out on this one:

So Daniel is a professional chef who runs an italian restaurant. Although, for one week each month, he travels to different places to try other foods as he takes food vlogs on his YouTube channel and other social media.

Johnny runs a restaurant that’s more convenient like burgers, hot dogs, fries, nachos, etc. However, there’s extra toppings that’s put on top that makes the food good. He comes up with weird food combinations that just so happen to taste good. Robby, Miguel, and some of their friends work there as they try to get more customers to come in.

Sam is best friends with Aisha and they’re close friends with robby, miguel, demitri, hawk, etc. One day, miguel made a joke of how her dad should come visit the restaurant and taste the food since he’s a “food critic” now. She laughs it off but eventually told her dad about it. It was her lucky daughter because he’s free to visit the restaurant. The only thing is he doesn’t know that johnny runs it.

So when daniel comes to the restaurant called “Cobras” he gets all skeptical about it. His heart dropped when he sees Johnny come out from the kitchen in a (tight) black t-shirt. Johnny wanted to turn back around only because he did his background research on Daniel ever since Miguel told him about daniel. Now he knows the little “twerp” was gonna judge his food. They said their “hellos” and caught up a little of each other’s life before he sat Daniel to an empty booth and a menu. Johnny goes back in the kitchen telling Miguel and Robby how Daniel is here and trying to keep it cool.

Robby tells his dad to relax and he’ll take his order, but Johnny insisted. So he goes back to daniel’s table and asked what would he like. Daniel ordered the mac n cheese bowl as he was a little curious about it. He asked if Johnny didn’t mind to accompany him for a few minutes for his video. Johnny only agreed if it’s off camera as Daniel said sure.

Johnny gave the order to the boys before sitting in front of daniel as they further catch up. After daniel ate the mac n cheese, he made a slight comment that it was a little too much of cheese and johnny got defensive and said how typical for a food critic.

It escalated until they got close to each others face and Johnny told Daniel that he was gonna come to his restaurant and judge his food. Daniel said he should as he would see how his food taste a little better. They both stand up as Johnny said he’ll be there on Friday at 6pm and save him a booth. Daniel said he will in an angry tone before leaving and johnny who obviously wanted the last word says, “Don’t let the door slam behind you, Danielle.”

The boys only caught a gist of their last words as Miguel asked him “So is that a date?”

No one isn’t a perfect writer and it’s okay to learn and improve one’s work but I think the reason this season didn’t excel like it should’ve because the writers themselves didn’t push themselves to strive to the next level of writing.

There’s narratives that changed to benefit a character or characters themselves who have a chance to do better and they just don’t let the character to become a better person who has faults but is self aware of those faults and seek out solutions. Idk if the writers want to have a slow pace/slowburn because no one can change their faults and mistakes in one day and want to give characters a chance to face difficult obstacles where they’re gonna face a lost (since life isn’t fair) or it’s just straight bullshit in writing for different reasoning.

We thought Daniel and Johnny would finally sit down and understand their mistakes before accepting that what they did or happened to them in the past can no longer take over their life and do right for the kids….but we got Johnny who kept imputing “manliness” into daniel and juggling his relationships with Miguel and robby (who also made little to no effort to see him) and Daniel is took Mr. Miyagi’s teachings a little far than what it is and believed his way of karate is the right way cause it is how he beat cobra kai the last time. Giving out principles but forgot the one of the main principles that it is up to the student to take what was taught and make it their own as they make the choice. It wasn’t until the very end for these two to see that and finally unite as a team which was bitter sweet.

I’d take Billy’s word a little bit since he said he likes season five. I pray it’s even better than season four.

aisha: no, because you’re salty and you scare people

Monster - Torisha Drabble

“Your hands,” Aisha gasps, cradling them like wounded birds. “What happened to your hands?”

Tory gulps, trying to ignore the pulsing pain and blood tricking in between her fingers.

“Sensei Silver wanted me to do a demonstration,” she explains. “On this dummy thing. I couldn’t break the board, so he told me to keep trying, and I did, and I still couldn’t break it, so he told me to try again and I… I never did break it.”

Aisha looks at her with wide, horrified eyes.

“God, that was humiliating. I was weak—”

“Tory,no,” Aisha says. “He’s a monster.”

Catalyst - Torisha Drabble

“Don’t do it.”

Tory freezes. Her plan of storming into West Valley High and challenging LaRusso hadn’t included being stopped by Aisha. Who she thought already went inside the building with Miguel…

Something’s off. Why is Aisha’s hair so much longer?

“It’s a long story. But I came back to stop you. This is when everything falls apart.”

Tory frowns at… future Aisha?

“Leave,” Aisha insists. “Or you’ll lose Miguel. You’ll lose Hawk. And I’ll lose everyone.”

Looking back at the school, Tory sighs.

“I want to hurt LaRusso… but I don’t want to hurt you.”

Aisha begins to smile.

GF & BFF - Torisha Drabble

(featuring my oc ellie, aisha’s best friend at her new school)

“She looks like Sam,” Tory says. “All the pink. You have a type, you know.”

“In friends?”

“If that’s all it is.” Tory glances over at Ellie, still in line at the cafe. “Her shirt is fluffy.”

Aisha sips her coffee. “Isn’t it cute?”

No.”

“…Ohhh. You’re jealous.”

“Of her? Please.”

“You are,” Aisha grins, reaching across the table to take Tory’s hand. “You know it’s not like that, right?”

Tory blushes. “I… well, it better not be.”

“It’s not, I promise. I just wanted you to meet her, she’s my bestie.”

“Okay,” Tory says. “…I do like her shoes.”

Tory With A Why - Torisha Drabble

(featuring my oc ellie, aisha’s best friend at her new school)

“You’re in love with her.”

“I am not in love with her.”

“You so are,” Ellie says, tossing Aisha a lollipop from her infinite stash. “All I hear about this Tory is that she’s so cool and she’s so hot and you’d love to spar with her again.”

Aisha laughs. “I meant spar in the literal sense.”

“Yeah, yeah. You’ve gotta introduce me to her someday, I’ll see if the hype is real.”

“Dude, I don’t even know when I’ll see her again. My parents are suuuper against going back to the Valley.”

“What? Why?”

“Don’t even get me started…”

Separate - Torisha Drabble

(introducing my oc ellie, aisha’s best friend at her new school!)

It’s not until April that Aisha realizes she’s been friends with Ellie longer than she’s been friends with Tory. In person, that is. She still considers Tory her friend, they just don’t…  talk very often. They’re living different lives, too busy for more than texting. It’s not like they can train together anymore.

Clad in pink per usual, Ellie is twirling her pencil and disputing their Con Law teacher’s point when—

SLAM!

Laying on the ground are a ceiling panel and four lemons.

“What the fuck,” Ellie deadpans, and Aisha laughs, thinking, I can’t wait to tell Tory about this.
