Me: it’s a good album y’know, MANIA, I’m kinda obsessed with it. Just the way you can sit and listen or dance and sing along, it’s so versatile. I love that the boys are exploring their creative interests and talents and making unique, heartfilled music. I know some people don’t like how different it from the stuff they made earlier but what artist doesn’t grow and change their product? I can’t wait for where they go next

in the mean time, have this pretty old Sugar We’re Goin Down animation thing that i started last year and never finished.
Last wednesday i met josh dun and i can confirm 110% he’s the nicest person ive ever met and is an actual angel. I walked into the venue to see Vesperteen and he was literally the first thing i saw. He was telling a group of people a story about when he was in high school so i lowkey just walked over there. a couple people took pics with him before me, right before i did my dad went up to him and asked if he was the merch guy for that night(because of course he did) but it was fine because josh laughed and said “yeah, i am”. Then he took off his black sweatshirt and said “actually,i am a walking model” because he was wearing the pink vesperteeen shirt. I gave my friend my phone and he looks at me and asks “should i keep the shirt tucked in” and i was like “sure!” and he laughed and said “yup that’s the look”. We took the picture and he put his arm around me and ive never felt safer in my life. We took the picture and he asked if he could look at the popsocket on my phone. Of course i didnt stop him he couldve smashed my phone and i wouldnt care. Josh asked me if he was holding it right and Collin walked over and asked what it was. Josh was like “you use it to hold your phone or look it can be a stand too”. Luckily, this whole time he didnt click the home button or accidentally look at my pictures because theyre all of him haha. He then picked my phone up and took a selfie with Collin and handed me my phone back. I was trying not to scream, I have never been happier. After i walked away he kept meeting more people, he met so many people and didnt say no to anybody. He wanted to have a conversation with everyone and if they didnt start one he would start asking them questions. It was amazing and makes me so happy to know he genuinely cares about us. Eventually i went over to watch the opening band. About 5 minutes in, I look over and josh is just leaning against the wall next to me. I was obviously smiling from ear to ear at this point and I accidentally made eye contact with the guy playing guitar and he thought i was smiling at him oops. A little bit later Vesperteen started playing so i moved closer to the stage. While they were playing i happened to look behind me and josh is literally right behind me controlling vesperteens blue lights. It was maybe the cutest thing ive ever seen, he was standing there laughing and looking like he was having the time of his life hitting this button. After Vesperteen, I was hanging out and talking to people when i looked over and he was helping them move all their equipment and pack up and stuff;I told you, he’s literally an angel. I kinda tried to hide the fact i was staring at him but honestly he most definitely knew i was. After he finished helping and was just kind of standing around I met these two girls who were trying to meet him and we talked for a minute and then we went back up to him. I had been contemplating going back up to him because I had this notecard that I’ve been carrying around for maybe a year just in case i met him so i could have him sign it. So when i walked up to him before i even said anything he smiled really big and said “hi again!” and I honestly didnt expect him to remember me even though it had only been like an hour. But i gave him the notecard and explained to him that ive been literally carrying this around forever. So he kneeled down printed his name and his actual signature. When he stood up and handed it back to me i asked if i could hug him and he didn’t even say anything he just smiled and opened his arms really big which made my heart MELT. I hugged him and said “thank you so much ill see you in march!” and he said “oh cool! ill see you then” and i left. I was a mess at this point and I didn’t care too much about the last band so I left and I’ve literally been on a high since then. He is genuinely an amazing person. I love Josh Dun so much.
PSA I didn’t go see Vesperteen to meet josh, i love Vesperteen so much and I honestly thought josh was in LA. I would never try to use them to see josh, they’re an amazing band and they deserve so much.
*inhales* what a beautiful day *exhales* to remind everyone that drummers are seriously underappreciated and that people should really acknowledge that they’re literally the most important member of any band ever.
be careful when asking what band member is my favorite bc 4 out of 5 times it’ll be the drummer and i will go on and on about how much i love and appreciate drummers
