1. Learn to recognize when you are feeling stressed – This will help you to reduce your stress before it is expressed as destructive anger.

2. Work on developing your empathy – Trying to see things from another’s perspective often helps to dissipate intense emotions.

3. Decide to respond instead of react – Although the way we react often feels automatic, we can actually choose how we’ll think, feel and respond. This is empowering, and the road to freedom.

4. Change your self talk - Listen to the conversation in your head and learn to modify extreme, unbalanced thoughts. Look for exceptions to “you always” thinking, and reframe “you must” or “you should” demands.

5. Learn to be assertive – Honest and open communication about your wishes, needs and preferences can stop resentment building – so it doesn’t turn to anger.

6. Adjust your expectations – Often anger is triggered by a difference between our expectations and what we actually get. Thus, sometimes it is better to adjust our expectations so they’re more in line with reality.

7. Forgiving doesn’t also mean forgetting – Although it is healthy to sometimes let things go, that doesn’t mean we weren’t hurt, upset or offended. The difference is we’re choosing to move on with our lives, and we’re not being controlled by external events.

8. Remove yourself from the situation – Retreating temporarily or “taking time-out” provides some space to think about the “best thing to do”. Thus you maintain control of yourself and circumstances.

I learn somethIng Nice recently on a New year fight….

FIRST:

If someone start to trow slurs and Bad words, get the fuck out

If someone start to be mean , get the fuck out

If You leave a clear message of boundarie and this person decide to ignore it , get THE FUCK OUT

You cant reason whit someone who start to yell and scream, disrespect and trow Bad words

Just get out, You owe no one an explanation

SECOND:

Don’t waste time explaining somethIng to someone that isnt going to listen, EVER.

You can explain whit apples, and they Will still won’t listen

Save it for the people who Will listen

THIRD:

Don’t waste time hating people, You don’t have to forgive them , but u don’t have to hate them either, don’t waste energy on holding a grudge, on hate stalking or Even looking at old pics of them

Invest that energy and time on people that is worth it

Fourth:

NEVER TAKE THINGS PERSONAL

You live in a world whit thousand of dificulties, disease and illnesses ,physical and mentall

Some people won’t get sarcasm, others talk harsh, much others doesnt Even care if they sound Bad, comunication is complex and Even whit tone indicators , we all process things diferently

And people don’t usually go around offending You on purpose, maybe by accident, but thats why Words exist, to talk about it, we all deal whit alot of shit like to waste time offending others on purpose, talk like an adult, don’t Say slurs or Bad words of u get angry, look for clasifiying the issue not making it worse

Don’t start fights where Theres non

Comunicate, if You don’t understand theres always The option to ask like :

Excuse me did You said this because u think My dress is ugly ? (When someone said :Nice dress)

Don’t asume everyone wants to offend You, because if another person talking sound rude to You, for them is normal, believe it or not, not everyone talk sweet or calm and still won’t mean they’re being disrespectfull

But is up to You if You want to waste energy, selfsteam and motivation on a dumb fight that nobody but You provoque

Lastl FIFTH:

In this world ,there is people who suck at recognizing boundaries, jokes, methaphors, sarcams and more, mental illnes can cause that, SO again, don’t take things personal because we all deal whit heavy shit like to add more
