She thought she looked a little sad, honestly - standing in the rain, the hand that isn’t holding her yoyo clutching a freshly-picked red rose, so tightly that if it weren’t for her supersuit, she was sure that the thorns would have nicked her palm, spilling drizzles of crimson onto the storm-coloured rooftop.

It’s almost as if a spotlight had materialised around her, because she was all he could look at.
So, like any sane person would do, Adrien decided that he isn’t going to run his fingers through her hair. No, he’s just going to walk up to her and start a perfectly normal conversation as if he isn’t her superhero partner who also happens to be wildly in love with her.
For this year’s @bugheadsecretsanta, I was lucky enough to get one of our amazing admins on the @bugheadfamilydiscord,@tory-b! I have had such a blast writing Christmas fluff (I know, it’s a shock) and especially with a prompt including something so very important to my life.
Prompt: Betty and Jughead have a hard of hearing daughter named Virginia Jane who they help celebrate Christmas.
Betty stretched out on the bed in Kevin’s guest room, a smile plastered on her face as she remembered how the night before ended. Jughead had been a perfect gentleman - had even asked to kiss her before she lurched up to take matters into her own hands.
She’d felt like her entire body had exploded into hundreds of butterflies when their lips touched and it felt liberating to do the things she was always taught would send her straight into hellfire. Suddenly, Veronica came bursting into the room as Betty closed her antiquated flip phone from sending Jughead a good morning text.
“Excuse me, Miss Cooper! When were you going to tell us that you kissed that hunk of gorgeous man last night?”
“Listen, I–” he started, trying to think of the right words to say, “I don’t want you to look at me any differently than you did that first day in the park, before you knew I was famous.”
“I don’t, I promise,” she replied, taking a deep breath and reaching out to touch his arm lightly. “It’s just, I’ve never had anyone give me this type of attention before so I guess I’m just a little confused by it. It’s all very new for me, I’m not entirely sure how to take it.”
Betty chewed at the inside of her lip nervously, waiting for him to respond. He placed his hand over top of hers and stroked it with his thumb with a small smile on his face. His skin was warm against hers and she felt that familiar sensation that she’d experienced in her dreams again.
“Take it however you want to,” he replied. “But just know that it means that I really, really like you, Betty. I have for a while now.”
It had been two days since the incident and he was still trying to get over the discomfort he’d been feeling since she ran away from him. He had tried to go after her but between the hoard of fans and the speed at which she fled, Jughead had no way of keeping up with her. He cleared his throat and pushed the magazine back towards them.
“Oh. She’s– she’s just a girl I met at the park…” he trailed off when he saw the look on his sister’s face. She could always see through his bullshit attempts at lying (she called it their twin superpower) and she arched her brow at him expectantly.
“What, Jell? Really! I just–,” he paused and scratched the back of his neck nervously. “I literally ran into her at the park and we talked. I bought her lunch as an apology and things were just fine until the masses recognized me and swooped in on us.”
“You met some rando girl in the park and you just decided to take her to lunch?” she looked at him in confusion and continued, “And what do you mean you literally ran into her? Is that the line you’re going with? Since when does Forsythe Jones go around picking strange chicks up in parks?”
He lifted his beanie off of his head and ran his fingers through his hair before securing it back in place as he watched Betty roll up her yoga mat and secure it inside the giant tote bag he hadn’t noticed against the tree. Jughead waved his arm in a sweeping movement to have her lead the way. He tugged gently on Flapjack’s leash and he followed between them easily.
The entire scene felt so normal, which was strange in his line of work, but he liked it. It felt like it had been too long since he had the opportunity to simply be Jughead . He didn’t have to be ‘on’ right now - in entertainment mode, or on the defensive. He was just being himself.
It reminded him of college when his fame fizzled into the background and he was just like everyone else. He’d give anything to have that sense of normalcy again, but for now, he’d take these few minutes with a pretty girl.
Betty then dropped her knees and arms, so her chin was grazing the mat. She paused there for a minute, trying not to lose count of her breathing. She dropped into cobra before pushing herself back up, in one fell swoop, again into downward dog.
She stayed there longer this time, simply listening to the world around her while her eyes closed. As she opened them, ready to lunge herself forward, a little ginger cat ran between her arms and legs, startling her.
Before she could get herself upright, a small white and tan puppy came bounding behind the cat. The next thing Betty knew, she was turned over, flat on her back with more weight on her than she knew what to do with.
“Oh my God! I’m so sorry! Are you–?”
When she opened her eyes, she was met with a pair of the most beautiful blue eyes she’s ever seen. She blinked up at this mysterious man, her jaw slack.
“Beautiful,” Betty thought she heard him breathe out before catching himself, finally clambering to his feet and offering his hand to help her up.

The trek to Gilvaine wasn’t long, two days at most, but the cold made it seem as if it would never end. When the tips of the castle could be seen on the horizon the entire clan bellowed with excitement. Eijirou turned to look at his people with a feral grin and pulled his sword from its place on his back.
“Our new home lies just beyond this hill! Kill all who dare to harm your brothers and sisters! But do not bring harm to the women and children! Pillage to your heart’s content and I will take the castle for our own! Do not show restraint against those that stand against you and may Odin welcome you home after your last breath!” He yelled before turning back to look at Gilvaine. “Take it all!” He bellowed and the sound of swords hitting shields echoed through the air along with the rumbling of their feet hitting the ground as they took off in a sprint to breach the castle gates.
“Let’s take this land Tetsu and kill anyone who stands in our way,” Eijirou said with a smirk as he took off to follow after the others. ~ A Blood Riot Viking AU where he and his clan overthrow the kingdom of Gilvaine and Prince Katsuki will be his bride, whether he wants to be or not.
The Boku No Hero Academia universe is a place where 80% of the population has developed a superpower known as a quirk (formerly meta) these superpowers took the world by storm and can be as simple as a slight colour change in hair to full-on superstrength capable of destroying cities. Bakugou has been glancing at the so called ‘Deku squad’ during lunch. And who is the center of said group? Obviously Izuku Midoriya in all his hero nerd, dumb shirts, huge smiles glory.
And what kind of friend would Kaminari be if he didn’t try to set them up?
Or: Kaminari thinks explody boy is in love with class 1A’s sunshine boy, but he’s more into squishy cheeks. Good thing Denki could use some sun.
“S-s-s-so, how l-l-long have you been i-in the s-s-s-system?”
Katsuki freezes. His elbow is cold where it rests on the open window. The fingers of his other hand splay on the polyester of Inko’s back seats, his nails gripping the fabric with now-tense muscles. Katsuki turns his head slowly, an expression of utter loathing in his eyes as he examines Deku distastefully.
“Mind your fucking business,” he spits, the first words he has uttered the entire trip.
or Bakugou is a foster kid that Inko takes in and he definitely does not get along with everyone at first. The red-headed boy in his class makes him feel a little more like he belongs. Needless to say, it’s a road of self-discovery, acceptance, and hijinks.
Izuku knows his sleeping habits aren’t exactly healthy. In fact, one could even say they’re detrimental, but his brain has a tendency of being too loud or too fuzzy to sleep.

Bakugou Katsuki explores himself through crossdressing and deals with this perceived threat to his gender and masculinity. He has healthy friendships and uses them to figure out his problem before he fully suppresses himself or harms his relationships permanently.
Mina asks Ochako out but bails before the other girl can answer. She makes her way to the Bakusquad’s monthly sleepover only to confess to her blunder to her friends. Coincidentally there’s a knock and everyone knows who’s waiting on the other side of the door.

Did Marinette really have feelings for Adrien? Was she truly falling in love with one of her best friends? She didn’t know if her feelings were real or superficial, and vice versa, and at this point she just wanted to disappear.

The situation is desperate for Ladybug and Chat Noir, with the majority of the Miraculous in Hawkmoth’s hands, and Marinette’s done some heavy thinking. It’s time for her to take a big chance, to demonstrate her complete trust in Chat Noir… and to pray that she’s doing the right thing.
