At first I was hesitant about posting asking for help here as I been away for a long time. Work, health and life got in the way, but I can’t complain. It has been an awesome year for me and always look at the world with a positive vibe. Hope everyone had an awesome beginning to what will be an awesome year.
Take a moment and read this, what would you do if you got no car to move yourself around?
Having a car is an essential part of life, how would you get around from place to place. You can get yourself a bike and go to work, run errands, etc. But what about the days when the weather it’s freezing that you can’t feel your fingers, rain is pouring, or they steal your bike and got no way to move around. What would you do?
My friend Juan had to give up on his car back on October (as you see on the above picture)because his bank was overcharging him thinking he had no car insurance. They didn’t want to refund all that extra fees they were charging him, and he decided to give up on his car and return it. His job is very demanding and he’s on call till 10p.m. when his clock-out time is at 5p.m.
He gets paid bi-weekly but roughly makes around $1,500, he lives on his own on a small one room apartment that charges him $500 for rent monthly. He still has to pay for utilities, groceries, give gas to those who give him a ride at times. Other times he walks to work (about 15miles) back and forward. At times he has walked home during the cold weather, rain has poured on him.
I try to help him as much as possible and pick him up and give him rides without charging him nothing, I worry about him just as if he was my brother.
If you’re still reading, you might be wondering what am I asking. Let us all come together and raise money so he can give a downpayment for a car. He has been struggling saving money to get a car, but unexpected expenses sometimes happen. If you have no money, spread the word, any small amount of money can be a blessing.
“Why didn’t you tell me about the dinner?” “What?” “Your Mom basically tackled me in the hall to invite my Dad and I over before the dance. Did you not know?” “No, no. Of course. I’ve just, you know, got so many … plates are spinning.” “I’m a little terrified by the social experiment of it all, but I think it’s good if our families get to know each other. “I think it’s important for us. You know?” “Yeah.”

*Phone call*
Tabitha: Hey Arch, what’s up?
Archie: Hey, sorry to bother you but could you try and get home a little earlier today? There’s been an incident with Jughead and-
Tabitha: Oh my god, is he ok?
Archie: Yeah, he’s fine but it’s probably easier to explain this to you in person.
Tabitha: I’m on my way.

“Why would Cheryl do something like this?”
Tabitha paced around the living room, tugging at the bottom of her ponytail as she talked. Ten minutes had passed since she arrived home and was briefed on the situation, initially reacting in the way any concerned girlfriend would; checking Jughead’s pulse and looking him up and down, despite his claiming to feel “mostly ok”.
“We don’t know,” Betty said, walking over and placing a gentle hand on her friend’s shoulder “But Tabitha, you’ve got enough on your plate right now; let us handle this and you focus on helping Toni.”
Slowly, Tabitha lowered herself down onto the couch beside her boyfriend.
“This whole thing’s just… really shaken me. It all feels more real now.”
Jughead pulled her head onto his shoulder, beginning to stroke gentle circles into her back. “I know. But Tab, you’re ok, I’m ok- just a little nauseous” he said quietly, “And we’ve got this super duo on our side, as well as Toni, so I promise you, this is all going to turn out alright in the end.”
She took him in, from his sombre eyes to the hideous, grandpa slippers he’d insisted on buying, before leaning in and pressing her lips to his. He pulled her in closer until she was all but on top of him.
Suddenly, Archie cleared his throat from where they were standing on the other side of the room. A knowing look passed between him and Betty, and they both smirked, picking up their bags.
“I guess that’s our cue guys, we’ll see you tomorrow.”
Jughead waved at them with his free hand. He didn’t even bother to open his eyes.
“Thank-you for everything, guys, have a good night.” Tabitha called after them.
For a moment, the room was silent. She slid back against Jughead’s chest, feeling the rhythmic beating of his heart through the shirt he wore.
“What should we do now?” he turned to look at her, his eyes sparkling.
Tabitha didn’t hesitate. She sat up and pulled on his hands.
“Sleep, Jones, you need to keep all of your fluids insideyour body for the next twenty-four hours.”
“Don’t you have to monitor my body carefully?” he whined as she stood up.
His eyes met hers across the table with an intensity she hadn’t seen before. He grabbed hold of her hand. She didn’t see him move but suddenly he was standing in front of her, pulling her off the chair before cupping her face in his hands.
‘This is a bad idea.’ He said quietly.
‘I don’t care.’ She replied, closing the gap between them.
‘We should..’ Jughead trailed off before refocussing. ‘Think. We should think about this.’
Betty shook her head very slightly. ‘No,’ she whispered. ‘I’ve done enough thinking.’
