Now I was thinking to myself, why does this look so familiar to me?? and then I thought of a different scene:

Like…the extended hand…the zoom in on the face… the only big difference is the helmet, and the lack of sparkles and first person perspective??

Idk, do what you will with it, but you can’t convince me that if they had zoomed in on Iida from Aoyama’s perspective, instead of from behind his head, there would have been flowers and sparkles surrounding Iida in that moment. You can SEE the gay panic on Aoyama’s face.

Aoyama: *admiring Iida* our babies will be smart and beautiful.

Todoroki: not to mention imaginary.

Aoyama: if not your kids, who’s gonna be friends with mine?

Deku: they will find other friends.
