We’re super excited to announce Tidal Waves: A Lance Zine! Tidal Waves is a Lance centric free PDF zine to celebrate Lance for his birthday. Applications are now open until March 30th. Unlike Atlas, Tidal Waves will not be first come first serve so please keep that in mind when applying. Confirmation emails and a link to the discord sever will be sent out soon after applications close. Please keep in mind that while we are allowing ships the main focus must remain on Lance and all works must remain SFW. We hope to see you soon! It’s February! I’m busy (back on campus regularly for the first time in a while which feels weird) and digging into revising my thesis a lot.
My girlfriend came to visit this past weekend which was really really nice because I miss her. Hopefully I’ll be able to go visit her soon, because I want to see her concert next weekend but idk if it’ll happen yet :(
Also I got an email yesterday from one of the grad school programs I applied to that I haven’t opened yet bc I’m scared. I don’t think I’ll get in? But I don’t know if I want to know right now. I can’t decide if getting emailed so early (it feels early idk) means they didn’t get many applications or they didn’t accept me. And I don’t think I’ll get in anywhere but I don’t know what to do next year if it isn’t grad school.

You will need three sample pieces, and a link to your portfolio (preferably a Google drive or folder)
One of your sample pieces must be haikyuu related
All art work must be digital, only digital art work will be considered due to the formatting process
While this is an “x-reader” zine, art work does not need to be x-reader as long as it fits into the “dreamy days with msby” theme. If you choose to do an “x-reader” art piece you must make the MC poc inclusive and gender neutral
You will need a discord and PayPal to accept payment at the end of this process

We will be looking for one “special artist” to do a special “MC” Piece, if interested please mention at then end of the form.
You will need three sample pieces, and a writing portfolio showing your best work. (Portfolio is preferably in a Google drive/folder, but master lists are okay as well) one sample piece must be Haikyuu related
For this issue we may have you do a special short fiction piece (a 100-200 word letter from a MSBY boy to the reader) this is optional
Note, your contribution of selected will need to poc inclusive, gender neutral, and not use ableist language.
There will be a space to provide pitch ideas, while not required this will add strength to your application
While not required there is a place at the end of the form where you can add your cover letter should you want to add strength to you application.

Hey guys! Mod Bella here to give you an update on the status of the zine! Mod Jay and I have been working hard to get acceptance/rejection letters to those who applied! As we said in a previous post, we have had to change our schedule due to recent events in our own lives. Emails will be sent by the end of the week at the latest! We will post an announcement once they are sent out!

Artist, writer, and merch artist applications for Lady in Lace, an 18+ Krolia lingerie zine, are now open! They will stay open until October 31!
We are looking for 17-20 artists, 1 cover artist, 4-6 writers, and 5 merch artists!
Artist Application Requirements:
At least one sample is fully colored
At least one sample has a background
Writer Application Requirements:
All samples at least 1k words
All samples no more than 2.5k words
At least one sample is complete (i.e. not an excerpt from a larger piece)
Merch Artist Application Requirements:
At least one sample is fully colored
At least one fully colored/shaded drawing in a style that easily translates to the type of merch you are interested in designing
NSFW Samples are encouraged, but not required!
NO MINORS ARE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE OR APPLY! IF WE FIND A MINOR’S APPLICATION, THEY WILL BE BLOCKED AND BANNED FROM THIS ZINE, AND POTENTIALLY OTHER ZINES AS WELL!

Why do employers want to know exact dates of employment and not accept a plain month and year? Come on, my memory is pretty good if I can remember what month I started a job in 2002. Asking for the day and freezing my application until I put it in is just excessive. Do you remember what YOU were doing every day in May 2002, recruiter? Probably not. (If the answer is “yes, I was finishing kindergarten” it doesn’t count.) You’re forcing me to make up information because I don’t remember and there’s no way for me to check. Of course, that means you can’t verify it either, so maybe it doesn’t matter. I’m still uncomfortable with outright bullshitting on an application.
Ramona will reside at Xavier’s school as a result. It is assumed that Allure is away on business for an indefinite amount of time, and due to this, the younger sibling was relocated.
