Here’s a selection of designs I recently created as a part of a pitch for a short film. I was heavily inspired by the 1950s animation studio, UPA. I can’t talk much more about the project at this point, but I was super excited to be asked to do the designs!
An American soldier is stationed near Nazi Germany, but faces a dilemma when he begins to fall in love with a young woman who comes from a family in the upper rankings of the Nazi party. He has two choices: leave her and continue fighting the war, or persuade her to abandon the Nazis.
Art journal pages from August-October. Having fun doing lots of weird art this season, getting lost in lines and patterns and really enjoying layering faces and drawing visceral things :D
