Day 30 #stradaeasel challenge

I found some awesome bright green leaf litter on a walk through the neighborhood this morning, and thought it would contrast nicely with the green leaves of the citrus from yesterday. I had a lot of fun working on this one, really trying to emphasise shapes with broad brushstrokes.

I grew up in this valley! In Southern California if some one said they were from the “valley” you knew they meant The San Fernando Valley. It’s strange I’m getting more familiarized with its views and mountain ranges now that I don’t live there. Do you have a view like this where you live?
