I don’t often paint my nails… So it amused me the other morning when, having randomly decided to varnish them the night before, I woke up to discover that someone had changed the soap to the exact same shade as my new nail polish, entirely coincidentally.

Composition is little unbalanced but the colours and shapes speak for everyone

Wanted to show a quick varnishing process video to the tune of Bach’s Goldenberg Variation no. 11. I decided to title this painting “Breaking Dawn With Neowise”. It can be difficult to come up with titles for my paintings, what would you name my painting?

Sometimes you can’t tell from a time-lapse video that I paint every point of light (city lights and stars) purposefully. I do this mostly to balance the composition. This can be very time consuming, but I believe the end result is worth it! With this painting, I also tried to convey a sense of motion with the clouds. What do you all think?
