this could probably also be interpreted as a scourger!Caleb AU if that’s your jam, but just know that I have been in ship ALL the wizards! ot4 hell since March and this was absolutely intended to be Essek and Astrid
(speaking of, if you find the idea of caleb/essek/astrid/eadwulf even mildlyintriguing, you should read amongst the things left unforgiven.I am better at writing than I am at oil painting, and I am not bad at oil painting.)
