On the first page, you can see the Blumentrio, Wulf, Bren and Astrid. They are teenagers wearing the academy uniforms. Next to them is a cut out strip of a book page. It’s cut alike to an old film, showing a different picture in each frame. First is a close up of crossed hands in leather bandages, then a woman reaching out her hand, with a scar on her neck. Next is a post stamp with a clock stamped over it. Last frame shows a closeup of Caleb as an older man. The second page is a more abstract textured arrengement of many plants and berries. On top of the page on a white piece of paper is written “And so it has for years upon years, untill this very day”. end id]
Calystegia sepium, bindweed. Pretty but incredibly hard to get rid of and with a habit of overgrowing and choking the life out of everything around it.
