Aries: They try to appear tough and badass because, deep down, they have very big and soft hearts. They fear being taken advantage of and they don’t want to, in their perspective, “allow themselves to be hurt by someone” and so, they put on the charade to protect themselves.
Taurus: In my experience, it seems Taurus is always the lesser-recognized sign; no one is out right neglecting this signs’ existence, it’s just not really given the attention it deserves. On the outside, a Taurus is generally a very reserved person, you’re not going to know a lot about them unless they’re willing to trust you - and they don’t trust easily. Deep down, they fear what they can’t take on themselves - a Taurus appreciates a slow, well-understood and controlled method of living their lives. When something comes up that they can’t deal with in their own special way, they begin to shut down. They need their own control to function in a difficult situation.
Gemini: Gemini is often considered a very, flaky sign. Let me specify how incorrect that is. Gemini’s entire purpose is to learn, to grow and understand; they can be a little, let’s say, two faced? But it isn’t with bad intent; rather than “not having one personality”, they’re simply more open to the world, and will take on different people and situations in a unique way every time. Being an air sign, of course, this means they prefer to be aloof and “above everything”. It isn’t that they don’t care, they just don’t know how to show it in a way you’ll understand and accept.
Cancer: Cancer has always been charaded as a very motherly, loving and down-to-earth sign. A lot of their personality is swallowed by people interpenetrating them in only one light. Yes, they can be motherly, loving and down-to-earth. But they’re still people with a novel’s worth of personality. Cancer are, by design, very emotional people, and have an emotion-biased perspective on life. They’ll set aside their job and important tasks to be available for a friend; they’re the person in your life who is always trying to be your pillar in difficult situations. Cancer may be the most emotionally developed of the signs, they understand the feeling of hurt, regret, difficulty and stress, and they don’t want the ones they love to experience that. If they could take your pain from you, they’d do it in a heartbeat out of love for you.
Leo: Leo is often painted as a very proud, boisterous, glamorous person who loves to show themselves off - the person who thinks their shit doesn’t stink. Yes, there are people like that regardless of astrology, but not every Leo is that negative of a person. Leo can be a very generous, kind person who wants to see their friends succeed. Their showy outer personality isn’t them trying to look good for their imaginary cameras. They can be some of the most insecure people of the zodiac, and they don’t want to publicly state that. In flaunting themselves, they’re trying to hide their insecurities from others, to avoid letting them use it against them. While some of them are very extroverted, loud and sing-song, an equal number of them are pretty down-to-earth, friendly and loving people who just want to see their personal world, involving the people they love, grow and flourish with their help. (I tend to draw parallels between Leo and Capricorn; while Capricorn is a lot less obvious about it, they love their friends and want to be the reason the people they love flourish. They’re both loyal to the death and very determined people, in somewhat similar but still very different ways.)
Virgo: Hear me out - these people are not all clean freaks who vomit at a single speck of dirt, and they are not all little introverted babies who sit in a coffee shop rereading the Twilight series with a cup of mocha every Sunday afternoon after church. Yes, some Virgo are like this, but they aren’t that generic and basic. Virgo looks to have fun in a way that doesn’t make them feel shameful - they are considered the virgin, but not necessarily in a physical manner. They can be innocent for a long time, they can approach taboo subjects very carefully, and doing wrong things can really hurt their sense of self. They simply want to feel comfortable with who they are, and intend to do that by simply being a good person - some of the few people who don’t tread too close to the wrong things.
Libra: A common complaint about Libra is, they’re all very preppy, fake and think they’re better than everyone. In truth, Libra co-shares Venus with Taurus. Essentially meaning, Libra is a very kind and loving sign, who wants to show their passion for what they love through more physical things. If they love their hair, they’ll want to style it and make it look cute in their eyes. If they love their friend they want to give them small gifts; generally the people with photos of friends in their locker at school. However, Libra is still an air sign, and as common with air signs, they’re a little, let’s say, shy with their feelings. When a Libra loves, they love hard; they know this, and they’re hesitant to allow themselves to become close to people who may hurt them, and in trying to protect themselves, they may choose to hide behind a curtain of being a bitchy little shit. (I promise they’re not as bad as people make them out to be.)
Scorpio: Oh boy, here we are. The reason I started work on this. Okay I gotta spoil something for everyone - Scorpio are not all about drugs sex and murder. I know shocking. Scorpio are very prying people, they want to know what’s going through your head. Not out of some creepy curiosity but, because they want to understand you better. They don’t act like sex crazed murderers because they are one, they just like the way it makes them feel. They enjoy it, it isn’t hurting anyone. While they are very sexual people, this doesn’t make them easy, or a bimbo/himbo. As a water sign, they are sensitive and emotional, however, they’ve perfected the art of hiding what they consider their weaknesses from the world. They can appear very purely focused on their own personal gain, but really? They’re loyal to the end and love their friends with everything they have - they just don’t want to be hurt. And, isn’t everyone like that?
Sagittarius: As the sister sign of Gemini, you’d think from the start that these are very obvious people with a straight forward method of life. Sagittarius need their freedom to explore their horizons and grow as a person; the way they see it - they have their entire lives to grow. No rush. They’d like to perhaps travel abroad to seek freedom, they don’t want to be pinned down too early. They tend to have the persona of a very fun loving individual without a care in the world. Truthfully, Sagittarius people are very deep thinkers, they always have a lot on their mind. They want to understand so much, they want to push out of their little box and see everyone and everything for what it all is. If I had to summarize Sagittarius in one sentence, I’d say, Sagittarius enjoy the fun and easy times of their lives, but they know deep down they won’t always be happy like this, and will soon need to move on to new parts of their lives.
Capricorn: Oh yes, the stickler of the zodiac apparently. While they may not be keen to show it. Capricorn are very loyal and loving people. Yes, they are focused on what they believe to be important - work first. They may not really show it, but they also love to kick back and have fun. They just, don’t know who to trust. Their reputation is important to them, similarly to a Leo’s. They want to get ahead in life and become someone important; they want their hard work to pay off in one way or another, and won’t rest until they feel they’ve achieved their goals. They just need some hugs and kisses and blankets and pillows and cute romantic movies and pizza. (No bias but dear lord I love Capricorns you’re all so sweet and I would die for you. Aquarius: Ooh, here we are, the quirky people! Aquarius enjoy setting themselves apart from others - they refuse to be an average Joe, they seek to diversify themselves. Less of an alien thing and more of, showing that they aren’t just like everyone else. They want to do more than just live, pay taxes and die. They want their close circle of friends and the rest of the world to know that they are strong, independent and one of a kind. Pisces: Crybabies? Occasionally. Pisces, like Cancer, is a very emotional sign. Unlike Cancer, however, Pisces are oddly double sided. On one hand, they’re soft little rays of sunshine who just want to bake cookies and have sleepovers. On the other hand, they seek out the taboo; generally the people who do drugs, less out of feeling cool and more out of trying to experience what they’re told not to. They rebel, not out of demanding change but, because they don’t want to be kept in a protective bubble, keeping them from the real world. At a younger age they don’t understand how ruthless the world can be, and they force themselves into this world prematurely, and in turn they can be very affected by this. They have this feeling that they haven’t experienced the darker parts of life, and either in morbid curiosity or a need to not feel like a baby, they explore the parts of life that are against the rules for a reason.

planets should never be interpreted as just their sign (unless of course you do not have access to birth time/full chart! you can still learn a lot from only the sign/aspects), their house placement determines where their energy is released and the aspects to said planet will shape the expression, direction and release of it’s energy
sign cusps do not exist. they are not the same as house cusps. you cannot be two sun signs at once, two venus signs, etc. read into decans & anaretic + critical degrees, look at the house placement of your planets, learn about houses in general, check planetary aspects, etc.
squares & oppositions are not as bad as people say!
saturn & pluto are not only negative; jupiter is not only positive
your moon sign is your emotional state & reactions; inner emotional needs and desires. a lot of people, because they view emotions as everything/the most important, think the moon sign is “the real you”. or they think this because they haven’t researched enough into why they can’t relate to their sun sign. your moon sign is simply your emotional base. that’s it. not the real you; it’s the emotional you; the inner needs you have. your planets will always come together and interact with one another; your chart as a whole is the “real you”, if anything.
on top of that, the idea that someone with moon in a sign is “more (x) sign” than someone with that sun sign is ridiculous. the sun sign person has the entire identity, ego and base personality of that sign. the moon sign person has the emotions. neither is more of that sign than the other, unless they have multiple placements in that sign. even then, if those planets in said sign are in a “repressed”/hidden house, or have aspects that heavily alter them, that changes everything.
[ another expansion: astrology isn’t a competition. it’s a weird thing for people to try to one-up these days. via “more difficult” placements or being “more (x) sign”. it’s strange. some placements are harder to deal with in theory, sure. but it’s all about how you develop and handle them. no one has an easy chart, no one. all good aspects and placements have negatives; and vice versa. even the most loved planets (ie: jupiter) can bring pain. even the most feared planets (ie: saturn) can bring peace. it depends completely on development, growth, etc. use astrology as a tool for growth, comfort and healing. use it to learn and discover more about yourself and others! but don’t make it into a warped competition ]
the sun has become misunderstood through the astro community trying to get people to pay attention to more than just the sun (which is important). but in doing so, it has downplayed the role and importance of the sun. the sun is quite literally your core. it is your identity, your ego! a lot of people grow into their sun placement, and relate to it more as they get older. the sun is very important, it can dictate where you’ll find fulfillment (along with north node) and self-expression. it’s your core!!!!
outer planets matter! i used to be so guilty for this as well, saying things like “but the personals are most important”. it’s not true. the outer planets are not less important, they just tend to be related to more through their house placements and aspects, rather than the sign alone. pluto can show us where we crave power- or get pushed around by it; it can show where we frequently transform, etc. neptune can show where we give unconditional love, where we are deceived, where our creativity thrives, etc. saturn shows where we need stability, where our fears lie, what we need to learn, etc. jupiter can show where we go too far, where we have luck/our optimistic area of life, where we crave more learning and discovery, where we are too trusting/careless, etc. uranus can show where we need individualism, where our creativity thrives, where we experience sudden and unexpected change in life, etc.
squares and oppositions are not inherent doom. whether it be in synastry or within your own chart. yes, both bring about challenges; but they are meant to be a learning experience. once learning the lesson from squares and oppositions and mastering them, they often (imo) become more powerful than a trine or sextile aspect. oppositions teach you balance between the planets in which they occur. a common opposition i see people struggling with is moon opposite mercury (and i feel your pain, me too), but this opposition is meant to teach you how to balance your emotions with your logic. the same goes with moon squaring mercury, your meant to learn to unite the differences between your emotions and your logic; find an equal ground. this is a blessing in disguise! it’s going to give you far different perspectives and insights into your emotions as well as the things you study, interactions with others, etc., than a trine or sextile would (those usually just give people one singular view on such things). squares/oppositions in relationships allow you to learn from one another and teach each other new perspectives. also, squares & oppositions are of the same mode (fixed, cardinal, mutable), so they hold a lot in common regardless.
saturn and pluto are not entirely bad and being ruled by these planets or having them strongly in your chart is not solely a curse. saturn brings drive, ambition, strength, stability, security, determination, and the list goes on. it can ground other planets and help you garner the push needed to follow through in various areas of life. saturn gives the harsh lessons that end up allowing you to grow the most. pluto brings creativity, independence, intuition, power, drive, strength, etc. pluto tends to bring about destruction, but only when it’s needed so a lesson can be learned and things can be rebuilt in a stronger, more safe and rewarding way. “rebirth” is a word often forgotten when discussing pluto; the destruction doesn’t come for no reason. the same goes for jupiter; it’s often associated with only optimism and luck; which is why i think people can struggle to relate to their jupiter placement! jupiter also shows where we need to expand, learn more. it shows where we need to reflect and discover more, and also where we need to reach a balance between independence and closeness with others. jupiter can also, similar to neptune, show where we may be deceived or manipulated, because we look too optimistically towards that area of life; or are too careless because we’ve experienced heavy luck in that area of luck before. it can point where we go to excess: there is definitely such a thing as “too much of a good thing”.
Being fixed dominant truly makes it so easy for me to make decisions and stick to them. Like I am always clear about what I hate or love. And I can decide if I am going to love or hate something from start, it’s like I can sense it. The fixation on the decisions or choices we make is truly solid. I do admit in some circumstances, we do need to reevaluate our decisions or choices cause we aren’t always right but it’s truly difficult thing to undo and takes lots of time and effort.

They want to create security for their loved ones as well as encourage personal growth. They reassure loved ones directly that their love is unconditional and uncircumstantial. Cancers are very sentimental about physical togetherness, so quality face-to-face time is an important aspect to how they show love.
What they need: Cancers need that natural nurturing quality returned. As much as they want to create security and comfort for their loved ones, they too need others to shield for them. How they show love: Virgos choose their words carefully and eloquently and this is how we can acknowledge their way of showing love. Though they are not one of the outright expressive Moon signs such as Cancer, they’ll know exactly what to say or write to make someone feel loved. Though cliché for a Virgo, acts of service is also their way of demonstrating care. They don’t mind doing the small things just to make someone’s life a little easier. Virgos also love leaving things better than when they first found them; physical improvements equate to mental improvements.
