Daisy Jones and the Six Cast and Real Life Inspirations: Click for full photos
Had to make this once we got the full band cast for the “Daisy Jones and the Six” miniseries on Amazon based off Taylor Jenkins Reid’s novel. I know some characters had more influences but most of the characters had one main inspiration and these were the ones I noticed. The casting director has done an amazing job as most resemble their real life counterparts and I’m sure the others who don’t but look like the book describes will have the personalities too.

Which is what we all want from art, isn’t it? When someone pins down something that feels like it lives inside us? Takes a piece of your heart out and shows it to you? It’s like they are introducing you to a part of yourself.
You’ve taken a big, black, bold line and you’ve made it a little bit gray. And now every time you cross it again, it just gets grayer and grayer until one day you look around and you think, there was a line here once, I think.
But that’s what it felt like. It felt like my heart sort of turned to stone. Or…you know how people get cryogenically frozen? Like, they just put themselves on ice in the hopes that they can come back one day? That’s what happened to my soul. On ice.
And a lot of good dope can make it so you can’t tell whether you’re happy or not. It can make you think having people around is the same thing as having friends.
